HEATING MODE:
BYPASS VAV SYSTEM OPERATION:ZONE CONTROL DAMPERS, BYPASS DAMPER, ZONE TEMPERATURE SENSORS, BYPASSCONTROLLER, CENTRAL CONTROL PANEL WITH PROGRAMMABLE TIME CLOCK AND ALLACCESSORIES NECESSARY FOR AN OPERABLE PRESSURE INDEPENDENT BYPASS VAVSYSTEM, SHALL BE PROVIDED BY A SINGLE VENDOR IN COORDINATION WITH THEPACKAGED HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING UNITS MANUFACTURERS.
ZONE CONTROL DAMPERS SHALL BE UNDER CONTROL OF THEIR RESPECTIVE ZONETEMPERATURE SENSORS.DURING COOLING, THE ZONE DAMPERS SHALL MODULATE CLOSED ON A FALL IN ZONETEMPERATURE BELOW THE SET POINT (76 ADJ), ON A RISE IN ZONE TEMPERATUREABOVE THE SET POINT (76 ADJ), THE REVERSE SHALL OCCUR.DURING HEATING, THE ZONE DAMPER OPERATION SHALL REVERSE CONTROL ACTIONSUCH THAT ON A FALL IN ZONE TEMPERATURE BELOW THE SET POINT (68 ADJ), THEZONE DAMPER SHALL MODULATE OPEN, ON A RISE IN ZONE TEMPERATURE ABOVE THESET POINT (68 ADJ), THE REVERSE SHALL OCCUR.
COOLING AND HEATING OPERATION SHALL BE ESTABLISHED BY SYSTEM VENDORSSTANDARD METHODS. DUCT DISCHARGE STATIC PRESSURE SHALL BE CONTROLLEDSUCH THAT IN A RISE IN DUCT STATIC PRESSURE ABOVE SETPOINT, THE BYPASS DAMPERSHALL MODULATE OPEN. ON A FALL IN DUCT STATIC PRESSURE THE REVERSE SHALLOCCUR. SET POINT SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH EQUIPMENT VENDOR.
START-UP AND FIELD TEST FOR PROPER OPERATION OF ALL AHUs SHALL BEACCOMPLISHED BY, OR BE UNDER DIRECT SUPERVISION OF, A TECHNICIAN CERTIFIED BYTHE MANUFACTURER. (2) COPIES OF THE START-UP REPORT SHALL BE SENT TO THEENGINEER PRIOR TO FINAL ACCEPTANCE.
EF-2 AND EF-3EXHAUST FANS SHALL BE CONTROLLED BY THEIR RESPECTIVE LIGHT SWITCH.
EF-1:EXHAUST FAN SHALL BE INTERLOCKED WITH AHU-1 AND SHALL OPERATE AS FOLLOWS:EXHAUST FAN SHALL BE ENERGIZED WHEN AHU IS INDEXED FOR "OCCUPIED" MODE.WHEN AHU IS INDEXED FOR "UNOCCUPIED" MODE, THE EXHAUST FAN SHALL BE DE-ENERGIZED.
DUCTLESS SPLIT SYSTEM:
ON A RISE IN SPACE TEMPERATURE ABOVE THE THERMOSTAT SET POINT (76 F ADJ.),THE COMPRESSOR(S) SHALL BE ENERGIZED. ON A DROP IN TEMPERATURE THEREVERSE SHALL OCCUR.
CU-1 AND AC-1:COOLING MODE:
UPON DETECTION OF WATER IN THE CLOGGED PRIMARY LINE, THE ALARM WILLACTIVATE AN LED AND BUZZER, AND IT WILL DE-ENERGIZE THE CONDENSINGUNIT. WHEN THE ALARM CONDITION IS RESOLVED AND PROBES ARE DRIED, THESYSTEM WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY RESET TO NORMAL OPERATION.
CONDENSATE OVERFLOW DETECTION ALARM:
ON A DROP IN SPACE TEMPERATURE BELOW THE HEATING SET POINT (68 F ADJ) THEHEAT PUMP SHALL BE ENERGIZED. ON A CONTINUED DROP IN SPACE TEMPERATURE,THE ELECTRIC HEATING ELEMENT SHALL BE ENERGIZED. ON A RISE IN SPACETEMPERATURE ABOVE THE HEATING SET POINT (68 ADJ) THE REVERSE SHALL OCCUR.ON A DROP IN OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE BELOW 35 F (ADJ), THE HEAT PUMP SHALL BEDE-ENERGIZED AND THE ELECTRIC HEATING ELEMENT SHALL BE ENERGIZED TOMAINTAIN THE HEATING SETPOINT.
A DUCT MOUNTED SMOKE DETECTOR SHALL BE MOUNTED IN THE RETURN AIRDUCT OF AHU-1. UPON DETECTION OF PRODUCTS OF COMBUSTION AS SENSEDBY THE DETECTOR, THE DETECTOR SHALL SHUT DOWN THE FAN MOTOR ANDCONTROL SYSTEMS FOR THE RTU AND ACTIVATE A VISIBLE AND AUDIBLESUPERVISORY SIGNAL ON SYSTEM SENSOR SSK451 MULTI-SIGNALINGACCESSORY. RESET SHALL BE MANUAL.
SMOKE DETECTOR:
13 MOTORIZED DAMPER TO BE INTERLOCKED WITH AHU. DAMPER IS TOCLOSE WHEN AHU FAN IS OFF AND OPEN WHEN AHU FAN IS ON.
