INTRODUCTION OURSELVES

We desire to Introduce Automated Meter Reading Technology (AMR) newly to our Reputed Customers. Usually the Meter reader have visit on Site to

take the Water Flow Meter readings once in a month / day to find out the Water Consumption consumed by Customer to raise the Bills and other needs.

To avoid such manpower and depending on their reports, we can implement latest technologies of the AMR Systems. So that outcome of Meter reading

shall be registered by AMR and transform to the Office Computer by support of GPRS and Consumer can monitor the Meter Readings through online

routinely.

We will provide the software and the meter readings shall be programmed to update in the system 1 hr (or) 2 hrs (or) 4 hrs (or) 6 hrs (or) 12 hrs (or)once

a day (or) based on Customer’s requirement option.

The AMR-TECHNOLOGY GPRS MODULE Model: AMR 105 designed for all types Mechanical Water Flow Meters Automation Purpose. Technical Specifications below.

The Network Connectivity 2 G only is enough and can recharge with basic tariff, not required external power input to the

Module. The GPRS Module having internal battery back up to 7 years if the readings sending once a day to the server. The Life span of

Battery variable subject to sending the reading to the server. Once battery get dry mode in the display itself can note that in one month

before to replace new one.

The mechanical flow meter has pulse output, using of pulse sensor pulse transfer to AMR-GPRS module by wiring. The module

converts the pulse as readings and transfer directly to our SERVER (Central Monitoring System) by network. From SERVER to WEB

and WEB to MANAGEMENT and CONSUMERS. They can view the readings by login User Name and Password provided by us to every

HOW IT WORKS

The and Mechanical water flow meters having Pulse output in all Sizes and Models. A Pulse Sensor shall be ZENNER AQUAMET

fixed in water Meter with an AMR - GPRS MODULE, Digital display. The wiring distance to be maintained maximum 10m between

GPRS module and mechanical water flow meter. The Mechanical flow meter Reading shall record in that module also in digital

display. A GPRS Enabled SIM Card inserted in that Module. The SIM Card Network Provider shall be selected which networker having

better tariff plan and network signal strength in that local area.

MOST IMPORTANT*** The newly fitted water flow meters or existing water flow meters AMR-GPRS module can be implement . In that case

out let side of the water flow meter a proper NON RETURN VALVE must be fitted as shown in drawing in Page No 11 to avoid Mismatching of

Readings by Reverse Running of the Water flow meter.***

Ÿ There Should be a Minimum distance between Bulk Type Water Meter and Dirt Box Strainer is of 10 'D' where 'D' denotes

diameter of the Bulk Type Water Meter (If possiable, 20 'D' may be maintained)

Ÿ The Direction of the Water flow Should be Matched with the direction of the arrow Mark in the Water Meter and Dirt Box

Strainer.

Ÿ Wide Pit to be Constructed with lock and key for safety and Periodical Maintenance of the Water Meters and Dirt Box Strainers.

Ÿ Proper installation procedure drawing in next page.

Ÿ Periodical Cleaning of the Dirt Box Strainer is to be done without fail.Water flow to be Stopped Completely at the time of

Cleaning.

Ÿ The Reducer, Enlarger,Elbow,Bend and Change of Pipe Line diameter are to be away from the Multijet or Bulk Type Water

Meter both in Upstream and Down Stream Side atleast 10 'D' (If Possiable 20 'D' may be maintained)

Ÿ Multijet and Bulk Type Water Meter is not to be fitted near to the Motor Pump Set.(Fitted at Maximum distance away from

motor Pump Set).

Ÿ Multijet or Bulk Type Water Meter and Dirt Box Strainer are to be fitted in Horizantal Position for durability.

Ÿ External Dirt box strainer(Filter) is optional only for Multijet water flow meters. Because of the

Multijet water flow meters all are having iinternal inbuilt strainer.

Ÿ Minimum 10 ‘D’ distance in between Inlet flow control valve, Dirt box strainer, Bulk type Water flow

meter and Non return valve. Here D denotes diameter of the water flow meter.

Ÿ GI, DI, MS or any other pipes with suitable Flanges, suitable bolt, nut, washers, and rubber washers

Periodical Cleaning is must, based on accumulation of the particles.

Connecting Cable may damage in between Mechanical water flow meter and AMR-GPRS MODULE exposure to sunlight /Rain.

Externally PVC Pipe or any other covering is required to avoid exposure to Sun light/Rain.

While Battery becomes in dry mode, in such condition AMR-GPRS MODULE, reading shall not forward to the Server.

One month before the GPRS Module indicate in the display, at that time immediately to replace the battery and data will be internally stored. To

change the battery takes 5 minutes. Until that there is an internal capacitor in module. This will manage 20 minutes to avoid losses of readings and

catching of flow passes readings.

In case of Validity period is expired in SIM Card the Reading may stop by sending to the Server.

Separate AMR Note book history record to be maintained with Recharge date of SIM Card either monthly or yearly validity. There is no chance to

reading losses. Because of the Mechanical flow meter and AMR-GPRS Module working and updating reading in site. After recharged the SIM Current

readings goes to server.

In case of Mobile network server gets down or sometimes signals issues, the Readings shall not pass to Server (Central Monitoring System).

Definitely solved the mobile network issues in short Period by mobile network provider. Then current Readings as per time schedule goes to

Server. There is no chance to reading losses. Because of the Mechanical flow meter and AMR-GPRS Module working and updating reading in site.

The Mechanical Water flow Meter should not fit wrongly. If so the Accuracy of the flow meter shall be wrong.

As per Supplier instruction and drawings the Water flow meter and Dirt Box Strainer to be fitted. Refer drawing given in Page No. 11

The Mechanical water flow Meter and AMR-GPRS MODULE may damage, in case of visible without external protection.

A proper Constructed civil chamber for Water flow meter and Steel Protection Box for AMR-GPRS MODULE to be provided.

Sludge and dust particles can enter into the lower mechanism of Bulk type Mechanical Water Flow Meters.

Dirt Box Strainer (Filter) is essentially to be installed at inlet side of the water flow meter and minimum 10 D distance is required. ‘D’ denotes
