LIP SYNCING

In Parasko and Will’s music video, I think that for the majority of the video the lips are in sync. However at times they are not in sync because the words were said at the wrong time, apart from these small errors, the lip syncing is very good. When filming, they sang out loud rather than miming as it allows them to get the lyrics more accurately which makes editing a lot easier. To sync the lips with the lyrics in Adobe Premiere Pro, they zoom in on the clip each clip and the first bit audio as close as possible, they then right click on the clip and unlinked the audio which mutes the clip. After this, they set a marker for where the first set of audio is and then they use the razor tool to crop the start of the clip that isn't needed out.

TECHNIQUES AND IMPROVMENTSThis shot uses empty space. They’ve done this by framing the picture so that there is a lot of space around the individual.

This shot uses symmetry. They have made symmetry by positioning the person in the middle of he frame.

This shot uses negative space. They also used a focus pull as everything came into focus at the same time. They could’ve used a shallow use of depth of field. To do this they needed to leave the background out of focus but bring the individual into focus

When these shots are combined together, they create colour. This has been created by the use of the green/blue and red colours. This creates colour as they are opposite colours to each other. They could've enhanced this use of colour by embedding colour into the narrative, this would've have given the colour a lot of relevance.

I think that the shot on the left was trying to achieve perspective by using the rule of thirds. I think that they could achieve this by moving the shot over the right so the individual is based in the bottom left corner of the frame. The picture on the right is the same picture but I have cropped it to give you an idea of what the picture could've and should’ve looked like so that it is improved.
