How they have changed in time?My opinion is that they gangster films have changed alot in time. The first film i described was Scarface and that was about a killing. Godfather was about people selling drugs in New York. The Goodfellas is about a robbery and the departed is about a undercover cop trying to stop a the Irish American organized crime.

Over time the gangster has became more targeted on certain groups. These groups could be racial homosexual and sex. We know this because the first ever gangster films made were about murder and drug selling. However these films have became more targeted.
