Page 3: Media Progression

Image background is still

seen, although it is a white

background it would be more

aesthetically pleasing if it was

removed.

Red, Black and White

Colour scheme is

complimentary and stand-

out within the magazine.

The

masthead

looks

separated

from the

image. This

is not a

conventional

point of

design.

There is no font variation and

therefore the masthead does not

appear as a stand-out point within

the magazine.

The cover

story does

not stand-

out from the

cover lines.

It is not

clear to

which

cover line

the image

matches

The Masthead appears as a stand-out design which is

also complimentary to the colour scheme of the

magazine. Additionally it is a conventional design

which matches the magazine’s mode-of-address.

Cover lines

specifically grab

the audiences

attention. Also

they appeal

directly to the

target audience.

Layout looks

more ordered

and

professional.

Barcode is

placed in a

conventional

place.

Coverstory is a stand-out

point on the front cover.

The image looks more

professional and conventional

as the background has been

removed through the editing

process. Additionally the

image has been taken in

consideration with the mise-

en-scene

presented

across the

page.

masthead on the front cover and is seen as

a stand-out point.
