We are following on from the success of our opening year 2014 by expanding the fair’s area from nearly 6,000 square meters in 2014 to 10,500 square meters this year.

The very positive feedback from exhibitors and visi-tors in 2014 leads us to expect more exhibitors and many more visitors to this year’s fair, which will be an integral part of the Blue Denmark.

In the opening year 2014 there were:• 4064 visitors from 72 different countries• 180 exhibitors from 20 countries• 37 % of the visitors were purchasing managers or

decision makers• 6 conferences• 27 presentations of new products and subjects of

major significance for the sector

In 2015, the scope of parallel activities will grow sig-nificantly. We are working on gathering as many acti-vities as possible in parallel with the Danish Maritime Fair, so as to provide the richest possible experience for both exhibitors and visitors.

THE TRAIN WORKSHOPThe Train Workshop is an historic industrial building. With its floor-to-ceiling windows and clever roof con-struction of wood and glass that allows an impressive inflow of light from a height of eight meters, the buil-ding demonstrates the same innovative solutions that characterize Danish quality products and maritime know-how.

We were excited when we heard that Maritime Danmark was

launching a new Maritime Exhibition to enhance the focus on the

Blue Denmark, so we decided to be a part of it. As a global marine

insurance provider, we thought it was an important event and

we were pleased to see a large and diversified group of Danish

companies from the maritime industry on the list of exhibitors.

Considering the fact that the event took place for the first

time, we were satisfied with the outcome, and the venue

proved to be useful for business and networking.

‘‘DANISH MARITIME FAIR 2015Over the past five years, the more than 10,500 square meters of the buildings have been renovated and equipped with modern facilities, at the same time successfully preserving their raw, industrial look. The main hall of 9,500 square meters comprises several conference rooms and a fair number of separate meet-ing rooms.

The Train Workshop is located close to the center of Copenhagen, within walking distance of S-trains and buses and is right on one of Copenhagen’s approach roads, taking you in a few minutes to the motorway or the airport. Just outside the door, there are 800 parking places.

• Stands provided with stand walls and company name. To this comes 1.3 kW electricity.

• Every stand gets one free parking ticket for all three days. It is possible to order different Turn Key soluti-ons at reasonable prices.

Stand construction and taking down• Construction starts Monday at 7 AM and taking

down Thursday at 17.00.• Taking down of stands is not permitted before

closing time.• Catering and other services can be ordered directly at

the Train Workshop’s website.
