The conversion is expected to be com-plete by noon. This is necessary for the construction of the I-277/Caldwell Street Interchange Project.
Please see map
Please note that weather and unforeseen circum-stances occasionally prevent work from being com-pleted as scheduled, and make it unsafe to reopen lanes or streets when planned. When this occurs, City traffic engineers work di-rectly with other City staff and contractors to re-solve the situation as quickly as possible and reduce impacts to the traveling public.

IT Department Update
The Medic IT department constantly keeps track of what types of technology related problems are being addressed/and fixed in the field.
The top three incidents that the IT department receives request for include: SIREN/ePCR software issues, unit mapping issues and InMotion gateway issues. This chart reflects how many total incidents the IT department has addressed each month since January 1st of this year. This is all part of the IT departments on-going effort to minimize lost unit hours in the field due to technology related issues.
Remember, if you are experiencing an issue with ePCR, your mapping system or InMotion gateway, please notify your supervisor and CMED immediately. In addition, please reach out to the IT Help Line at 6111.

A meeting was held this week between CFD and Medic leadership to gauge our readiness for implementation of the Focused Cardiac
Arrest Protocol. The training is nearly complete and everything appears to be lining up for launch. The final equipment details are being implemented over the course of the next two weeks, and those who missed the mandatory training are getting their chance
to make up the in-service next week (don’t miss it if you’re on the list!). With this, we are targeting Thursday, August 27th at 7:00 AM as the official launch date. Additional details and an announce-ment regarding the beginning of the Focused Cardiac Arrest Pro-
tocol will come from Dr. Blackwell sometime during the last week of this month, so stay tuned.

Overall Quality of Care Percentage Increase
The percentage of patients ranking Medic’s Overall Quality of Care climbed 4 % from June to July, placing Medic in the 80th percentile among EMS agencies nationwide reporting such statistics. Congratulations to ALL Medic employees for contributing to this improve-ment. Remember to keep up the good work by using AIDET whenever possible and treat every encounter with people in our community as a customer service experience.
Patient satisfaction is just one of the measures being tracked throughout this fiscal year, the result of which will impact every employee through the new Performance Pay Program. Look in logistics, CMED, and the employee break room next week for an update of how we are faring for the month of July.
If you have any questions about the Performance Results Pay Program, please see your immediate Supervisor. Again, congratulations on the Overall Quality of Care percentage increase for the month of July!
