Problem:
Calculate the stress and displacement on both ends of PART2 using Pro Mechanica when a force of 600N is applied at an angle of 30° on PART 3. PART1 is grounded and the angles between the parts are shown in the figure above.

SOLUTION:
For solving the above problem we have to draw the parts from 1 to 5 on Pro E and then after doing assembly, have to apply Pro Mechanica for finding out the stress applied and the resultant displacement on both ends of part 2 after applying a force of 600N at an angle of 30 degree on Part 3.
The ends of part 2 will be named as right end and left end.
First step will be to draw the parts that are:
Part 1:

Part 5:
Then after doing assembly, Pro Mechanica is applied and the snapshots and results are as follows:
STRESS ON PART 2: ( Left End)

STRESS ON PART 2: ( Right End)
DISPLACEMENT OF PART 2 ( Right End):

DISPLACEMENT OF PART 2 ( Right End):
RESULTS:
The stress and displacement on both ends of PART2 is given as:
Sr No End Divisions Stress Displacement
1 Right End 2.897Kpa 0.0003cm
2 Left End 2.084kpa 2.904cm
CONCLUSION:
Hence it is concluded that the stress on both ends is nearly same ( as also shown by same color as per matched by color chart ) and there is a great difference in displacement , very less displacement nearly negligible on right side and much more on left side of part 2.
