OPERA Study

The purpose of the OPERA study is to:1. Evaluate the efficacy of the topical/transdermal
analgesic in reducing pain in patients experiencing either neuropathic or musculoskeletal pain, using the Brief Pain Inventory (BPI) Short Form
2. Assess changes in the percentage of patient-reported primary pain complaints/symptoms
3. Assess patient satisfaction with the topical/transdermal analgesic
4. Identify any adverse effects

Interim results of the study were presented at the International Conference on Opioids, held at Harvard Medical School, and Pain Week, the largest pain management meeting in the US

As a Contributor to an IRB study there is an established Fair Market Value for your time to enroll and manage the study participants, as well as initial training of your staff

Identify patients that may be good candidates for potential treatment (preferably at least 50-100)
We will send a research specialist to your office to train staff and help with study enrollment
Patients scheduled for Office visit for review and treatment
Based on number of enrolled participants we will provide a Research Clinical Coordinator on an ongoing basis
