Resources to make sure your Spanish Equivalents are correct: 1. https://www.wordreference.com/ : This is a great single word dictionary tool online (also a free app for your
mobile device) that gives you context for the term. For example, when looking up “back” for a Spanish
equivalent, you need to distinguish between: anatomy, back of a room, back of a chair, the verb “to back” (like
support), etc. If you use an online translator like google translate, you may not get the context you’re looking for
and you are likely to use the wrong term.
2. https://www.linguee.com/english-spanish : We LOVE Linguee because it scrapes the internet for professionally
completed bilingual translations. This allows you to search a 2 or 3 word phrase and see how it’s been translated
by professionals. You can see context & sources – it’s amazing. Try looking up “fecal occult blood test”, and
you’ll see what why we like Linguee for multi-word translations.
