MEDICI PROJECT PRESENTS:

WEEKENDS WORLDVIEW

With the sound bite information age that students have come to be accustomed to, more and more students are needing to have a proper filter to process all of this information. With questions like: Who is God? How does pop culture effect my humanity and work? How does my personal story share the gospel? Do I have to go into ministry to influence culture for Christ?, students are used to the mosaic approach of picking out bits of information and collectively pulling them together to formalize whatever truth about these questions that can be conjured up.

These “truths” navigate their lives; how they interact with others, treat their parents, choose what vocation to go into, what to participate in, and what college to go to. However, the filter in which they view the world is hazed and not very true at all.

More and more millennials need to be informed on what a proper biblical worldview looks like. This is why Medici Project hosts special weekend events for your student ministries, hosted at your church, helping them answer some of life’s biggest questions about God, culture, and where the two intersect.

DAY 2

Session 3: Fully Human: What does it mean to be made in the image of God? With culture’s false proclamation of portraying something other than your true self, how do we as followers of Christ glorify him with who we truly are?

Session 4: Good Work: What does good work look like? How does a proper biblical worldview shape how we work, serve, and choose what we will do with our lives? Service Project In the middle of the day, students will engage in a local service project to put their faith into works. This experience teaches students the importance of the gospel and intentionality of using their gifts and passions to influence culture for the common good.

Session 5: Closing Session: This session is usually reserved for student pastors to speak specifically to your students. You are the one that will be walking hand in hand during the spiritual development of your students. From this point on, you will be developing the whole person as a disciple of Christ.
