A new 178,000-square-foot terminal exclusively

for animals. The ARK is intended to act as

a USDA-approved quarantine and boarding

facility for import and export of horses, pets,

birds, and livestock.

The ARK’s capabilities include dedicated climate

controlled vehicles from aircraft, terminals, cargo

facilities and other airport locations. Live horse

handling will be processed completely indoors

minimizing exposure to weather elements.

Processing timings are expected to be reduced

and Port Authority entry points to ramp side are

100 meters from the building.
