They are passionate about training, accounting and bookkeeping, about Sage, and most of all, about their students.

Our trainers continually collaborate with the Sage Learning Services Team to ensure that the training you receive is functional, and caters to real-life experiences and environments. Their goal is to make sure that you walk away feeling knowledgeable about your Sage software, and confident in your ability to write an assessment and become Sage Certified.

Meet our Sage 50 trainers

Dianne MuellerDianne is a Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB), Advisory Business Consultant, and Trainer. Over the past 25 years, she has earned a reputation for helping entrepreneurs keep their financial position upfront and central to their business. She regularly presents seminars to new entrepreneurs looking for guidance during their start-up stage.

In 2007, she co-founded the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada (IPBC). Dianne is the current Chair of the Board and truly The Bookkeeper’s Advocate (R). Dianne believes small businesses deserve skilled, professional bookkeepers, and strives to make that happen with the IPBC through education, skill testing and supporting bookkeepers.

In 2014, Dianne was awarded the international Luca award from the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, recognizing her outstanding service to the bookkeeping profession in Canada.

She is an expert in Sage 50 and has been using the product for over 25 years on a daily basis.

Anna AbbruzzeseAnna owns Actium Consulting Inc. and has been a Sage Partner for over 18 years.

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics & Accounting from the University of Waterloo. Anna also has her full Sage certification in the following of the Sage products: Sage 50 Platinum Certified Consultant, Sage 300 Certified Consultant, Sage BusinessVision Certified Consultant, and Sage Certified Trainer and Contract Instructor.

When Anna is not busy with all things Sage-related, she is a reading junkie and a mom to two future bean counters.

Jo Anne KebernikJo Anne owns The Software Coach and has been in business since 1990.

She has been partnering with Sage since it was known as Bedford and the operating system was DOS.

Jo Anne has a Bachelor of Education degree from University of Alberta. She is also a Certified Professional Bookkeeper and has been teaching Accounting and Computers since 1990. She is fluent in Accounting, MS Office, DOS, Windows (all versions), Lotus Suite, and WordPerfect Suite. She also taught classes for NAIT since 1990 for Corporate Training and Continuing Education at the post-secondary level.

Jo Anne enjoys reading, calligraphy, gardening, skiing, hiking, and yoga.

Meet our Sage 50 trainers

Marge Wegren-DebréMarge co-owns P51 Computing Strategies and has been a Certified Consultant and Trainer for Sage 50 since the mid 1990’s. She has been involved in small business operations throughout her entire career, and has a keen sense of what it takes to successfully operate, troubleshoot, and streamline a business.

She was a Charter Member of the National Sage 50 Partner Advisory Committee, spending many years as the Co-Chair of their Education Sub-Committee. Marge is also a lifetime Honorary Member of the IPBC, where she has served on their national Board, chaired their Accreditation & Compliance Committee, and was honored with a Fellowship Award in 2015.

With her keen interest in education, she has been developing curriculum for bookkeeping and the Sage 50 product for over 20 years. She is the Lead Instructor at the college level in Alberta for a Bookkeeping Certificate Program. Marge also has a mentoring program for new bookkeepers entering the industry.

She enjoys life on her acreage in her log home, and although she doesn’t have a lot of time for hobbies, possesses a weakness for quotes.

William WingsonWilliam’s passion for learning and making the learning experience exciting is remarkable. With a degree in Statistics, a Certificate in Business, and a Certificate as a Sage 300 and Sage 50 trainer, William offers practical information necessary to operate successful businesses. As the Director of Training for Total Corporate Learning Inc., William uses his wealth of training experience to educate and positively impact business owners in the use of software in the day-to-day operation of their businesses.

William has contributed to many volunteer boards over the years. He was the Treasurer of the Dunbar Soccer Association and of the Parent Education Committee of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Elementary School. He has coached soccer with the Dunbar Soccer Association (now VUFC). His U14 girls’ team, Dunbar Storm, was third in the Province of British Columbia for the 2009-2010 season.

Dave GreeneDave Greene is a CPB, MCSE, MCT, and Sage 50 Platinum Certified Consultant and Instructor.

With over thirty years of business experience, Dave is known for finding creative technological solutions for corporate needs. From his roots in the Office Equipment Industry, his skills have evolved with technology – providing products, training, and support for the latest business innovations.

Accredited in Post-Secondary Education with Certifications from IPBC, Microsoft, and Sage, Dave has developed and delivered hands-on bookkeeping and accounting training for individuals, groups, and classes for many years. His company Edge Info Systems Limited has been leading the drive to put his clients “in the cloud” and overcome the hurdles presented by the diverse geography, infrastructure, and weather systems of the Atlantic Provinces.

Bev ChristensenBev Christensen is the owner of Christensen Consulting and is a Senior Certified Consultant and Trainer with certifications and experience working in Sage 50, Sage 100 Contractor, Sage 300, Sage HRMS, and Sage CRE.

Bev also holds a certificate in Information Technology Management from the University of Alberta.

Bev Christensen has over 30 years of financial and business system management experience, and all of those years include working with Sage products.

Bev’s interests include animals, travel, scuba diving, and being a grandma!

Gayle YoungGayle is the owner of Gayley & Associates. Throughout her career, Gayle has worked with Sage 300, Sage HR, and Sage 50. She has held positions in senior management in finance, administration, and sales with corporations in the fields of telecom, wireless mobile services, transportation, medical, real estate, travel, and not for profit.

Some of Gayle’s personal achievements include being Charter Member of Women’s Business Network, participating in a 60K weekend walk for Breast cancer (raising $ 10,000 +), receiving the WBN Lifetime Achievement Award, Sage Simply Accounting, and receiving a Community Service Award.

Gayle has also done other community service activities for Big Sister, the Ottawa Air Show, and the Chaired WBN Auction, which raised over $100,000 for Scholarships for young women entering college/university.

Her dog and partner Raegan (alias Fuzzy Bear), is proud to accompany her in a therapy team to seniors and children in their community.

Angela DregerAngela has been a Sage Partner for 12 years, a Sage Consultant for 10 years, and a Sage Certified Trainer for 5 years. She has a degree in Business from Northern Lights College, a degree in Sciences from Okanagna University College, and completed a teaching program at OUC.

She has worked in the financial departments of government offices such as ICBC, the Ministry of Forestry, and the Ministry of Highways. She also worked for Investors Group as a financial planner. Angela owns three businesses: Office Consultants, which helps companies to streamlines their offices to be more efficient; This Little Light of Mine Daycare, and AD Consulting & Bookkeeping, which offers consulting and training in bookkeeping, Sage 50, and in Sage One.

When not working, Angela loves to fly fish in the summer and snowmobile in the winter. Her year-round hobbies include crocheting and reading. Angela is also a big lover of board games and card playing.

Christine HontoyChristine Hontoy compte plus de 25 ans d’expériences en tant que CPA, CA dans des firmes comptables et en entreprises privées.

Depuis 1999, au sein de sa pratique privée où elle a mis son expertise à contribution auprès de sa clientèle pour produire leur rapport annuel et mandats spéciaux.

Passionnée par la formation, elle a ajouté ce volet à sa pratique depuis 2003, année où elle devient formateur pour le Québec du logiciel Sage 50 et conçoit des formations.

Elle est certifié Platinum de Sage 50. En 2014, elle finalise le programme court de deuxième cycle en pédagogie de l’enseignement supérieur à l’UQÀM.

Elle nous livre des formations empreintes de ses expériences qui leur donnent une valeur ajoutée.

Alana FryerAlana is proud to be one of Sage Canada’s in-house trainers. She has been with Sage for +6years serving our valued customers and SAN partners.

Alana has a BA Communication Studies from University of Windsor and an MA in Human Resources and Knowledge Management, from Lancaster University Management School in the UK. She has been teaching technology and software skills to entrepreneurs and small business owners, for nearly 2 decades; working for companies such as Best Buy Canada, Oracle, Maximizer Software and SAP/ Business Objects/ Crystal Decisions.

Alana is mom to 2 kids, a German Shepard dog and a tabby cat; she loves DIY projects, sailing and Mexican food.

Sacha FrancisqueSacha Francisque, poursuit le baccalauréat en sciences comptable à l’UQÀM par cumul de certificat.

Il s’est joint à l’équipe de Tout Compte Fait Consultants en 2011. Il met à profit ses compétences pour répondre au besoin des clients tant au niveau des mandats en comptabilité que de la formation.

En 2014, Il obtient la certification or de Sage 50 (Gold certified Consultant) et certified trainer.

Il donne les formations du logiciel Sage 50 en répondant aux besoins spécifiques des participants.

Fanny LagunaFanny is a Senior Trainer at Sage.

In the last seven years, she has worked developing the training curriculum for Sage 50 Accounting—Canadian Edition, including anytime learning videos, study guides, classroom materials, and user and partner certifications. She has trained Sage customers, partners, and colleagues. She has also presented at conferences and other events, like Sage Sessions, Sage Summit, IPBC IGNITE Conference, and SleeterCon.

Fanny has a Bachelor in Computer Science, and obtained a Diploma in Adult Education from the University of British Columbia. She is an avid learner and continuously participates in conferences, classes, webinars, and meetup groups about adult education and training.

Rémi GauthierRémi is a Sage Certified Trainer and has been with Sage since 2012.

He became a Sage 50 expert through many years of finding and implementing solutions for business and technology challenges that were faced by business owners and bookkeepers all over Canada and the US. Rémi uses his field experience and his product knowledge to develop comprehensive training material in English and French and to deliver training sessions in an approachable manner.

Rémi also holds a Master’s degree in Business Management with a major in Auditing and Accounting.

When he is not teaching, Rémi enjoys organizing events for Sage colleagues and is a Sage Foundation Ambassador. He has a passion for travel, photography, and volleyball.

Bilge ArikanBil is a Sage Curriculum Developer and Trainer, providing high-quality product training to our Sage customers, Sage contract trainers, SAN members and colleagues.

With a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Technology Management from Ryerson University, Bil uses his experience in systems and business to provide practical information needed to succeed with Sage products.

Before joining Sage, he was an instructor and technologist with the Canadian Forces, training members in the use of information systems. He has also been involved in government and small business, working with and supporting a number ERP and HRMS systems.
