Anticipation
Tabitha wants to make the invitations herself using Adobe Illustrator on her
computer and crafts from her local craft store.
Attached are pictures of the invitation, an RSVP card, map, return envelope, Save The
Date wooden magnet, and “The Whole Story” where she can write out her and
Shane’s love story.
Arrival
Shane and Tabitha chose the signature package at The Red Corral Ranch in Austin, TX. The signature package
allows for access to the ranch from 3pm Friday until 11am Sunday, with accommodations for 15 out of town guests.
Since most of their family lives in Texas, this works out great for the few families traveling for the wedding.
ArrivalAnother reason why Tabitha
chose the Red Corral Ranch, was because they would allow her to bring her horse to the wedding. Tabitha loves her horse, Belle, to
incorporate Belle in the wedding, Tabitha will ride Belle to the ceremony site, where her father will help her off Belle, and
walk her down the isle.

Atmosphere: Decorations
From left to right: Catering to Tabitha’s love of DIY projects, she can have her hands in making all of these decorations. Display tables using barrels and old
doors or plywood. Burlap table runner. Cake table with rope lights. Cocktail hour tables using barrels filled with hay, and a glass table top. Glass votives filled with
acorns and candles. Centerpieces using hollowed out logs as a vase. Seating using hay bales , throw pillows, and decorative fabric as couches.
Amusement
From left to right: Fun family photos. Benito Brajkovich and Soul Wagon (Live band). Heart shaped sparklers for the send off. Games, like Shake ‘em Out, where guests try to shake ping pong balls out of a tissue box, and Who Wears the Cake? Where guests can “vote” with money on who they think should get to wear the cake.
AppetiteUsing Royal Fig Catering for
both food and alcohol. Tabitha and Shane chose to
serve the pumpkin soup with peptias, and roast
butternut squash salad with hazelnut and manchego as
the first course. For the main entrée they chose
beef tenderloin with lobster grits, and cider brined pork tenderloin with Sun choke creamed spinach. As the side dishes the options chosen are Gorgonzola
roasted mushrooms and onions, and green salad
with ranch or roasted apple vinaigrette dressing. They
also chose to serve the herb focaccia bread and pumpkin brioche breads.
Appetite
Shane and Tabitha chose Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop to make their wedding
cake. They chose a yellow cake with strawberry and Bavarian cream filling for
all 5 tiers.
Appreciation
Sticking with Tabitha’s DIY passion, she will make homemade pumpkin butter and apple butter in mini mason jars, covered in burlap. Turning the ceremony programs into a fan is also a great way to make an additional wedding favor for guests.
