Aaron currently lives in Illinois and is the first National Director of Seed Programs for Pheasants Forever. His current role focuses on habitat implementation, specifically designing seed mixes across the Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever (PFQF) geographic footprint for local, state and national conservation programs as well as leading the Seed Team of wildlife professionals that continue to develop seed mixes and programs across the United States.
After an undergraduate degree in Wildlife Sciences from South Dakota State University where he worked on pheasant winter survival. He also secured a Master’s degree in Animal Ecology from Iowa State University where he studied mammalian predators.
He started his career with PFQF as the MN regional wildlife biologist in 2001 until his promotion to the Illinois State Coordinator in 2008 and to his current role in 2016.

Charlie currently resides in Utah and is the Conservation Specialist for Seed Programs focusing on developing habitat mixes and providing Conservational Technical Assistance for habitat projects for the Western United States.
His early 15-year career included ecological positions with a state game agency, private seed company, the Bureau of Land Management and Fish and Wildlife Service. In the past 5 years he has served as a Habitat Specialist in Montana and a Sage Grouse Initiative Conservationist in Utah both with Pheasants Forever.
Charlie’s expertise and experience in the Western region includes developing custom seed mixes for Farm Bill conservation practices and reclamation projects, vegetation and wildlife surveys and monitoring, partnerships with agencies, invasive species management, grant writing and project coordination.
Dave is an Iowa resident and the Conservation Specialist for Seed Programs with a focus on building seed mixes and providing conservation technical assistance for projects in the Midwest states.
His more than 25 years of conservation experience began working with Iowa Conservation Boards followed by 15 years working as a Habitat Specialist for Pheasants Forever.
Dave is an expert in on-the-ground habitat implementation. As a Habitat Specialist Dave has installed and managed thousands of acres of CRP, food plots and other wildlife habitat practices in Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. He understands specialized habitat equipment, how to develop partnerships, implement conservation plans and is certified in prescribed burning.
