Meet The Teacher Mrs. Magen McCusker About Me My Favorites My Education Contact Information I am so excited to be your child’s teacher for the 2019- 2020 school year! This is my 4 th year at MCE, but this is my 8 th year of teaching. For the first 4 years I taught 3 rd grade in my hometown of Houston, Mississippi. My wonderful husband Mike and I have been married for 3 years, and in our spare time we enjoy visiting family, spoiling our sweet golden retriever Cora, and traveling. Reading has always been my passion and one of the reasons I became a teacher. As a teenager, I volunteered at my local library as part of their Youth Advisory Council, and during college I worked part-time in another library.
