• 1ST PRIORITY: RENOVATE AND OPEN KITTERY POINT CAMPUS BY SEPTEMBER, 2017. – ESTIMATED COST OF $750,000 WHICH INCLUDES
$150,000 OF CONTINGENCY FUNDS
– TO COMPLETE THE RENOVATIONS ON TIME AND UNDER BUDGET.
• 2ND PRIORITY: PAY OFF BETHANY’S MORTGAGE OF @
1.2 MILLION NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER, 2018 THUS FREEING UP APPROXIMATELY $135,000 ANNUALLY, MOST OF WHICH WILL BE USED TO FUND KITTERY POINT OPERATIONS.

Renovation Plan Update
Renovation Criteria Description of Criteria
Health & Safety Ensure that the building is compliant from a Health and Safety perspective.
Projects such as; fire systems, security and alarms, ADA Compliance, handicap
accessibility, elevator, moisture management, structural engineering, etc., are
included in this category.
Create Fellowship
Spaces
Create spaces that promote and encourage “Essential Engagements” - working
together to become disciples who make disciples. Examples of such spaces are
Fellowship Hall, Classrooms, and Meeting Rooms.
Create a Multi-use
Room Configuration
The building floor-plan will be configured in such a manner as to maximize the
space available for both small gatherings and large gatherings. A flexible floor
plan will afford the opportunity to meet a wide variety of congregation and
community needs.
Sound, Reliable and
Efficient Building
Systems
Building systems will be cost effective and efficient. The current building
systems are functional as is. However, further detailed inspections have
revealed that they are inefficient as compared to today’s available technology
and will likely require maintenance, repair and replacement within the next 5 +/-
years.
Technology That
Supports Worship Style
Sermons will be pre-recorded in Greenland. The AVLA configuration must be
such that congregants enjoy the same level of worship service in each of our
Campuses - including Kittery Point.

Assets
The cost of renovation must meet certain financial criteria in order to ensure that
we are being good stewards of the financial assets that we have been blessed
with.

handicapped accessible. • Relocate front entry to create
better access and additional parking.

Create Fellowship Spaces: • Create a combined Cafe, Resource
Center and Guest Central Area. Multi-Use Room Configuration: • Create a welcoming space that can
be used for small group meetings and community gatherings.
Efficient Building Systems: • Replace windows to improve
building heating and cooling efficiency.
Technology: • Install an AVLA system in order
to deliver the same worship service quality as enjoyed at other Bethany campuses.

can be used to celebrate life events such as; weddings, baptisms, dedications, etc.
• Reconfigure the platform to accommodate the Bethany style of worship music.

– ANNUAL TITHES AND OFFERINGS= $2.2 MILLION
– THUS, EACH GIVING UNIT DONATES $2400/YEAR ON AVERAGE

• FACTS: – LAST CAMPAIGN (RAYMOND) NETTED $2.7 MILLION
DURING WORST RECESSION IN MODERN HISTORY.
– THE ONE CAMPAIGN GOAL IS 30% SMALLER
– OUR GOAL IS TO: • TO HAVE ALL MEMBERS AND REGULAR ATTENDEES
PARTICIPATE IN THE GIVING PROCESS.
• HAVE CURRENT GIVING UNITS INCREASE THEIR GENEROSITY BY AT LEAST 43% FOR TWO YEARS.
• THIS INCREASE WOULD AVERAGE $1030/YEAR OR $86/MONTH OR $20/WEEK.
