I am a hard working individual looking for an opportunity in a dynamic work environment that would afford me the chance to utilize the skills I have developed through my education and work experience. The purpose of this letter is to express a strong interest in providing your company with a keen employee who could offer their services to any prospective graphic design or multimedia related position.
My current position is as a Graphic Designer at Shaun Milne Signs. There I work on a variety of projects from logo and business card designs to designing and printing large signs, banners, and vehicle wraps. I have been able to strengthen my design skills while learning to work with an array of different printing equipment to take a project from start to finish.
Previously I worked as a Junior Multimedia Designer at Whatever Solutions & Media Inc. While working with the team at Whatever Media, I was involved in a variety of multimedia related projects, which allowed me to practice and build on the many skills I had acquired while in college, as well as to develop several new skills. My experience in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator were utilized while assisting with a multitude of design projects for use in both web and print. I was involved in the design and construction of several eLearning projects, designing clean and instructive graphics using various Adobe programs, and working with the eLearning software Articule Storyline. I have assisted with the company’s promotion and marketing division, taking client supplied artwork and creating proofs and production ready files for a myriad of promotional products. I was also able to put my photography education to use by generating imagery to be used as content in many of their web design projects.
The skill set I have developed through work experience and college, paired with my creativity, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn, make me an ideal addition to your creative team.
