Coating technology

Melteca Purecoat panels are produced using the latest coating technology, bonding the coating to a

moisture resistant MDF substrate. Melteca Purecoat contains no Volatile Organic Compounds and is

resistant to fading and staining. The advanced UV cured surface offers a higher level of scratch resistance

when compared to traditional two pack paint systems, high gloss vinyl and high gloss acrylic panels.

Melteca Purecoat cleaning guidelines

Recommended cleaning products: Jif Powerspray, Sunlight liquid, Ajax Spray n Wipe – Multi Purpose,

kitchen antibacterial, bathroom antibacterial.

• Adhere to cleaner manufacturer’s instructions

• A soft cloth is recommended

• Do not use scouring pads, abrasive cloths, cream cleaners, cutting compounds or polishes as these

will damage the surface

• The removal of dust from the surface can be easily achieved by the use of an electrostatic dusting

cloth (e.g. Johnson’s Pledge Grab-it).

Protec+™ anti-microbial surfaces

Melteca Purecoat surfaces contain Protec+® anti-microbial technology which protects Melteca Purecoat

surfaces against bacterial and fungal activity. This makes Melteca Purecoat ideal for applications where

hygiene is critical.

Protec+® provides long term and effective anti-microbial properties, reducing the overall level of harmful

bacteria in the environment and the likelihood of cross contamination.

Edge treatment

A range of high gloss matched edging is available, which provides edge protection and impact resistance.
