Dear applicant,

As part of the world’s most impactful youth leadership organization, accepting the challenge for taking part in this year’s national team means that exiting and brave opportunities are coming ahead for AIESEC in The Republic of Macedonia.

We recognize the Member Committee role as one of the most intense and life changing journeys you will ever get a chance to experience. As each day brings new and exciting obstacles, it will be your responsibility to act strategically towards tackling all of them and learn from them as you go. By taking this step we trust you envision big things for our entity; our society; our world. That is why it represents a great honor to release the 1st round of Member Committee Vice President applications for the term 2016/2017. Being part of the Election Board carries a great duty and responsibility, but also gives you the extraordinary chance to provide an opportunity for the bold young people of our organization to further shape their future and experience yet another jaw dropping mandate.

AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia has been creating leaders since 1953 and after all these years we have acknowledged what thousands of great minds have done for our entity. That is why we are proud and eager to pass on this everlasting desire and pas-sion to the newly elected team and hope they surpass the greatness of their predecessors and never stop dreaming for a better world.

I: SUBMIT A SUPPORT LETTER FROM YOUR SUPERIOR APPROVING THAT YOU FULFILL ALL THE CRITERIA STATED IN THE NATION-AL COMPENDIUM OF AIESEC IN THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA as follows:

The candidates for Vice-Presidents of the Member Committee have to ful�ll the following criteria at the time of the submission of their candidatures:· To be a full member of AIESEC for at least two years; · To have previously occupied a position of Local Committee President or Local Committee Vice President.· Not to have debts towards the Local Committees or the Member Committee of AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia or in case of international, in their domestic entity. · To have an excellent English knowledge (understanding, writing, speaking and reading)

II: SUBMIT THE APPLICATION PACKAGE CONSISTED OF:

1. QuestionnaireThe 1st round of Applications for the Member Committee is consisted of questions concerning every area of functioning, no matter the primary functional area that the candidate is applying for. This is due to the fact that AIESEC in the Republic of Mace-donia has not yet elected a President for the term 2016/17. This causes the newly elected MC team to work under exceptional circumstances in creating the new strategies for AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia in collaboration with the current MCP, and this is the reason why candidates with knowledge from every area of work are needed.

*In terms of electing the President, a new and �nal 4th round will be opened in the beginning of April both for domestic andinternational applicants and if no candidate is chosen by the elections on the 23rd at MILDS (Macedonia International Leader-ship and Development Seminar) the current President will stand on post until the 31st of August when the Member Committee President will be chosen from the new Member Committee team or from the global network.

The answers to all the questions should be max 20 pages with font: Century Gothic and font size: 10. You can create and design your application esthetically however you want as long as the text is readable. Pictures and other objects are allowed. The ques-tionnaire should be submitted in .pdf format.

2. Curriculum Vitae – CVThe CV should be max 2 pages and submitted in .pdf format.

3. Application summaryA one-page summary of your entire application. It should be submitted in .pdf format.

4.VideoThe video must be maximum 5 minutes, and should be uploaded on youtube.com according to the following rules (at the end of this booklet you can �nd the instruction and rules) and the link to the video included in the application package in .doc or .txt format. The video must include the following: - Motivation and reason for applying for Member Committee Vice President-Your answer to the question: If you could change ONE thing in the reality of the Macedonian society and the reality of AIESEC in The Republic of Macedonia respectively, what would it be and why?’

5. Endorsement letters (total of 4):

- One from someone you led-One from someone who led you-One from someone you work/worked with-One from an external person who is not associated with AIESEC

6. Action plan

Please provide an action plan for 3 strategies that you would like to implement for your primary MCVP position that you are applying for, taking in consideration: -Every month of the term- All the external and internal factors that would a�ect the activities -The concrete action steps that would lead towards achievement of the above mentioned strategies

The application package together with the support letter from your superior should be submitted latest till05.04.2016 – 23:59h GMT+02

The application package (consisted of 9 documents) together with the support letter from your superior should be submitted on [email protected] within the above mentioned deadline.

All documents should be sent in a ZIP �le with the title: “MCVP15.16_Application_Your Name”

IMPORTANT: Late submission or incomplete applications will not be considered as valid, for what-ever reasons. After the validation process, a Con�rmation letter will be sent to all applicants within 24 hours.

2. How would you make sure that there is constant alignment between the Front O�ce and the Back O�ce towards every Out-going and Incoming Operation separately? Please provide your own methods from strategic, tactical and operational level.

3. Elaborate concrete action steps that the new MC team should undertake in order for the national PBoX project(s) to be 100%aligned and successfully implemented, taking into consideration the di�erent reality and requirements of all the entities in AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia?

4. Analyze one product that an entity in AIESEC Macedonia is selling, by specifying the weaknesses and strengths. What wouldyou change in that product’s features so it can have a real competitive advantage on the market?

1. What is driving you to continue in AIESEC?2. So far, how do you balance your role in AIESEC with the other social roles that you have (as student, friend, family member and so on)? What are the key difficulties that you currently have? How do you plan to overcome them?3. Please prioritize the following things from 1-5 (1 being the highest priority) and elaborate upon your decision?Team Player; Functional Performer ; Motivational/Inspirational Speaker; Mentor; Visioner4. Which past results that you have achieved make you confident that you can continue your work as Vice President of this entity?5. What is that one thing that will make you move forward in the hardest of times? What will happen if you loose that thing along the way, how will you continue (or not)? Elaborate upon these joined thoughts with your own personal flow.6. What are the key differences of the role that you have currently and the role of Vice President of AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia in terms of work, responsibilities, team management, team environment and so on? How do you plan to fill that gap of differences?7. What will be your unique contribution towards AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia and towards the Macedonian Society as Vice President of this entity?

5. How (with concrete actions steps) are you going to ensure a proper and professional delivery of our national partnerships(involving universities, companies, TN takers etc.) both from business development and marketing perspective. Please be con-crete and concise as much as possible.

6.Propose a strategy for �nancing one AIESEC project (without taking money from sponsors into consideration) and describe itin details so that it can be functional and successful in the next term.

7. Make a critical observation of TMP and TLP program in AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia. What are the 3 main changesthat have to be done in each program? How do you plan to make sustainable plan of member’s development, that will last for the whole term? How do you see the numbers, both in TMP and TLP at the beginning and at the end of the term?

8. Make an observation of TM as Back O�ce of all operations. What are the strengths, and what are the weaknesses? How canyou ensure to increase the direct contribution of TM in realizing all the planned numbers in GIP/GCDP?

9. Provide a critical observation concerning the new and improved customer �ow and give minimum 2 innovative ways on howto improve our customer care and nurture our leads.

10. Present key learning points and provide a strategic overview of the national recruitment campaign, the winter peak cam-paign and the Youth 2 Business forum.

11. Considering the current HR structure of Information Management in AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia, please elaborateon what should be done in the future so it can be stabilized in a way that will allow IM operations in all of the current entities within AIESEC Macedonia. Please be concrete as much as you can, provide a detailed action plan on annual bases that can be implemented by you as MC VP IM if elected.

12. Having in mind the current progress of development when it comes to Information Management in AIESEC in the Republicof Macedonia, please provide concrete ideas, and implementation strategies that you as potential MC VP IM are planning to realize in the upcoming term. Before elaborating on the national IM strategy, please give a detailed critical observation of the current phase of the Information Management �eld on national level.

13.Evaluate the current �nancial situation for the term 15.16 of the MC and the LC’s separately. What are the main challengesthat entities are facing with? Propose 3 strategies for overcoming these challenges.

14. How you as MC member will contribute to the �nancial sustainability of AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia on a short anda long term?

Instructions for video upload

As stated previously, these are the instructions for uploading the video which takes part of the application package:

1. In order to upload a video on YouTube (www.youtube.com) you need to be logged in (use your aiesec.net email account).To check on which account you're logged in, in the top right corner, click on the round picture and check the currently used account.

2. When you pick your aiesec.net email account, click on upload.

3. After you click, this is what you're going to get on the screen.

4. From here you can choose if your video is going to be Public, Private, Unlisted. You need to choose Unlisted. The video formatshould be .mp4. If it is some other kind of format, YouTube might not have recognized it or it will need more time to convert it in the previously mentioned format.

5. When you upload the video, it is required for you to watch it. After you watch it and determine that everything is okay, copythe video link and paste it into your MC VP Application on a separate text document.
