The Association of Educational Purchasing Agencies (AEPA) has approved its newest state member Cooperative Purchasing Agency (CPA) in Georgia. Georgia is now the 28th state to join the AEPA group with 181 school districts, 16 Regional ESAs, and 1.6 million students.

In 2017, AEPA set a goal to add five new member states in five years. Illinois was added last year. According to AEPA Executive Director George Wilson, “The opportunity to provide the State of Georgia with access to AEPA’s contracts will be a win-win for Georgia’s public schools and our awarded vendors. Unlike other national cooperatives, AEPA leverages the buying power and expertise of 28 purchasing cooperatives to ensure its contracts are safe, legal, and compliant. But what really sets them apart from other national cooperatives:

•AEPAiscomprisedofeducationpurchasingprofessionalsrepresentingleadagenciesintheirrespectivestates.•AEPAisanon-profitorganizationthatisgovernedbyeducationalserviceagenciesorpoliticalsubdivisions.•AEPAmembersadvertisethebidsintheirstatebasedontheirlocalbiddingrequirements.•AEPAmembersawardthecontractsbasedonstatespecificlegalrequirements.

As a founding member of AEPA, KCDA members have access to the best national contracts available for administrative software, athletics, copiers, furniture, lighting, musical instruments, roofing, synthetic turf and track surfaces, and scoreboards. Since KCDA is owned by Washington’s Public School Districts, every dollar spent using AEPA contracts through KCDA increases our purchasing power and helps us get lower pricing to our members. More importantly, the dollars spent stay in the Northwest instead of ending up in some other part of the country.

Please remember to your out so KCDA can have your order ready to on your

requested delivery date which is on a first come first served basis. Getting your orders to KCDA early

allows our purchasing department to maintain sufficient inventory to cover the needs of every member.

Please check your order when you receive it, verify your carton count against your packing slip. If your packing slip is missing, please call KCDA Customer Service, and we can send you a new copy.

As you recieve your order, please check for shortages, overages, or damage, please make notes of any issue on the freight carriers delivery receipt (i.e. Bill of Lading). Please contact KCDA directly so that we can fulfill your order.

KCDA accepts returns at no charge within 20 business days of receipt or by September 30th for Summer deliveries. Returns requested after these deadlines will be charged return freight and a 10% restocking fee. Expired products are not eligible for return. KCDA only considers returns that are supported by KCDA records and paperwork.
