EVENTS
IHPI members and their teams have access to a range of events
organized or co-sponsored by IHPI. Most of them are open to faculty,
staff and trainees but some are open only to faculty. RSVPs are
sometimes required.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & OTHER SUPPORT RESOURCES

ON-SITE SHARED WORK SPACES
We offer a range of common spaces that IHPI members can use for meetings, small groups
or solo work, even if you’re not based at NCRC. Some require a reservation. See a list
on the IHPI Member Resources website.
COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT
We work to promote our members’ work via Twitter (@UM_IHPI), LinkedIn, the IHPI Informs newsletter & the IHPI Newsroom. We create lay-friendly materials, connect members to reporters seeking sources and coordinate with other U-M communicators. Twitter and LinkedIn training sessions available.

GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
Our DC-based government relations director connects IHPI members with policymakers and influential groups, and with opportunities to impact health policy, as well as assisting with testimony preparation. Our Ann Arbor staff can help with connections at the state level.

access to our repository of more than 20 terabytes
of data on 113 million Americans with various
forms of insurance, and other data resources. Our Data &
Methods Hub team can also assist with project planning
and analytical methods.

RESEARCH COLLABORATIONS
Our Strategic Initiatives Catalyst staff provide
IHPI members with project management and grant writing support for
multidisciplinary research collaborations which align with our current strategic areas of focus in healthy
aging, opioid overuse/abuse, health equity, and appropriateness of care.
