adoption fees for those pets that are special needs or seniors. Come and check them
out today! Regular adoption fees will apply - $50 for kittens and cats and $50-$150

‘Mind, Body & Spirit Tips for the Businesswoman’ at Palm Coast BAC Lunch n Learn
Palm Coast – This month’s Palm Coast Business Assistance Center’s “Fearless and Focused: Women in Business” Lunch n Learn will focus on “Mind, Body & Spirit Tips for the Businesswoman.” The program is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Palm Coast Yacht Club, 1 Yacht Club Drive. To guarantee a spot, reservations should be made by noon Monday, Sept. 15, at www.PalmCoastBAC.com. The cost, which includes lunch, is $15. Guest speakers will be Lynn Kleinschmit, a physical therapist and expert in nutritional response testing, and Brenda O’Donnell, a life, business and health coach and radio talk show host. Kleinschmit has worked in the inpatient rehab setting with stroke, head-injury and neurologically involved patients and in outpatient care with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, vestibular and pediatric clients. She has also worked with children in the school setting and with senior patients in home healthcare. Over the years, she identified that something was missing from her clinical approach. That missing link is adequate nutritional support to allow the body to heal itself. She recently became certified in a technique called nutrition response testing to accurately assess the functional needs of the body. O’Donnell’s experience includes property management, commercial financing, and sales and marketing. In 2005, she had a wakeup call after feeling overworked and overwhelmed. Through yoga and self-discipline, O’Donnell was able to overcome addictions, anxiety and self-limiting beliefs to create a life she loves. She now inspires and helps others personally and professionally to do the same through life, business and health coaching, inspirational speaking and yoga. She is the radio talk show host of the health and wellness program, The Sunrise Today Show, on WNDB 1150AM/95.3FM on Mondays at 9 a.m. The Lunch n Learn series provides networking opportunities and allows business people to discuss various business topics in a roundtable environment. The series is sponsored by Intracoastal Bank, and net proceeds this month will go to the Women’s Initiative of the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties (Flagler Chapter). For more information, contact the Palm Coast BAC at 386-986-2499.
