• Interesting to Note:
• The Artistic Section of British Life in the 1950’s seem more likely to be honoured by the State for Services to the Realm.
• The 1950’s saw emergence of pop music and later recognition by the Establishment, i.e. The Beatles, Andrew Lloyd Webber – had they lived earlier would recognition have come?

• This is only a mere glimpse of those who influenced in the 50’s, some had very long careers well into the end of the Century but this presentation is based on some of those who most influenced the 1950s, were at their zenith, and left a legacy.
