Marhaba! Welcome to our inaugural Meinhardt MENA News, our bi-monthly flyer aimed at keeping our clients, associates and well-wishers abreast of the key activities taking place within our rapidly expanding MENA business and international operations.
Meinhardt Group has a long-standing presence in the MENA region. Established since 1995, we are currently one of the largest international Project Management / Integrated A/E services companies in the Middle East with more than 250 professional staff on the ground & supported by the resources of 3,700 engineers globally across 40 offices.
Our MENA business is one of our fastest growing businesses globally. We have a total of eight offices in the region - seven in the GCC (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Bahrain Manama, Riyadh, Kuwait City and Muscat) and Istanbul. We are also in the process of setting up an office in Algeria. Further afield, we intend to set up in office in Kenya before the end of the year. All MENA offices are 100% owned subsidiaries of the Singapore office (Global HQ) and are directly overseen by me to underscore our commitment and ensure we bring over our best practices and mobilize Group resources seamlessly to serve our clients.
Built upon solid foundations, we are continuously scaling up our regional operations as evidenced by our newly set up office in Abu Dhabi, doubling our office in Dubai
to accommodate 80 people whilst our façade business continues to strengthen its leadership position in the region and globally. We are also making significant investments in our IT systems to strengthen our operations and delivery.
Meinhardt offers the full spectrum of engineering and project management services and all our offices in the region have an architectural license to facilitate our clients
including international architects.
We believe we bring the full value of our expertise when we take on a lead consultancy role thereby serving as a single point of responsibility for our clients especially for fast track projects. We have built up a lot of experience in undertaking projects under design and build framework - a growing phenomenon
in the region - where the focus on efficient design, constructability & flexible approach plays to our strength and has helped cement our position as the largest independent A/E company in Asia.

ASPIRE PARK MALL Doha, Qatar
Meinhardt has been appointed as the Lead Consultant for the up and coming City Centre Haraj. The project is located in a densely populated quarter of the old Doha and strategically positioned on the way to the New Doha International Airport. The mixed use development comprises two 5 & 4-star hotels and serviced apartments towers, a four-storey retail mall and four levels of basement for underground parking. Total GFA of approximately 304,500 sq m. Meinhardt is providing Lead Consultancy, Civil, Structural, MEP and Façade Engineering.
The project comprises a shopping centre within the Aspire Park including kids entertainment and educational facilities. The total area is approximately 6.8 million sq ft including Parking Area and Botanical Garden. Meinhardt is the Civil, Structural, MEP and Façade Engineer for the project.
Meinhardt was appointed as the MEP engineering consultant for this prime mixed use development at the new Lusail City District of Doha. The development will consist of a retail mall, hotel and residential component with a total built-up area of 8 million sq ft. The construction of this mega project features Meinhardt’s ability to provide the full range of MEP services on a massive scale.

DAMAC TOWERS BY PARAMOUNTDubai, UAE
Meinhardt is providing Façade and BMU consultancy services for the DAMAC Towers by Paramount, Dubai. The mixed-use development comprises four 56-storey towers overlooking the Burj Area, Dubai. Three of the towers will be used as services apartments, the fourth tower will be mixed use of hotel, retail and F&B. The four towers incorporate a mix of aluminium glazed panel systems, balcony glazing, balconies, operable windows and feature metal cladding spiraling around the façade.

LUSSAILY WATER RESERVOIR 120 MIG PHASE 1 & 2Dubai, UAE

Meinhardt handled all the design for the new Lussaily Reservoir which consists of two rectangular tanks partially buried, each with a capacity of 60 MIG or 273,000 m3. The team is currently working on the final stage of the construction. The new reservoir will have a control room to house the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA) which will be integrated to DEWA’s master control centre. Meinhardt is providing the Lead Consultancy services including Civil, Water & Environmental Engineering.
Meinhardt is the Structural Engineer for this 250 m, 60-storey Residence Tower at Istanbul, Turkey. The project has a total built up area of 55,000 sq m. In a bid to achieve an all-rounded approach of innovation, functionality and design, an advanced design techniques were carried out which undoubtedly helped in achieving a high standard of structural excellence.
