This Gozo grown Chardonnay and Viognier blend offers an intense bouquet of mango and peaches. Its palate is round with and elegant complexity offering a fruity character that evokes pineapple and apricot.

2. Victoria Heights Chardonnay (Gozo D.O.K.) € 9.90 Delicata, Malta

A soft, fruity full flavoured dry white wine produced entirely from Chardonnay grapes grown in the valley vineyards of Gozo. The result is an attractive, slightly honeyed barrel matured white wine full of character and subtle flavours.

3. Ulysses Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay (Gozo D.O.K.) € 11.50 Marsovin, Malta

Produced entirely from hand picked grapes harvested in family owned vineyards in Gozo, this medium bodied dry white wine has aromas and flavours of a citrus and green fruit character of lemons, limes and apples. It has a refreshing acidity that is in balance with the fruit flavours.

4. Antonin Blanc (Gozo D.O.K.) € 21.00 Marsovin, Malta

A barrel fermented wine produced from Chardonnay grapes from the Ramla Valley Estate in Gozo. Aromas of vanilla, burnt toast, and buttery notes combine well with the Chardonnay grape’s fruity character of crisp citrus and green apples on the palate. It is full, smooth and round in the mouth and, whilst retaining a fruity Chardonnay character, the subtle nuance of oak adds finesse and complexity.

Maltese White Wines

A blend of locally grown grapes makes this wine very refreshing with a nose of ripe fruit and floral characteristics. The palace which is round with medium intensity is supported by crisp acidity.

This is a light, easy drinking white wine blended from the indigenous Girgentina and Chardonnay grape variety. It has a true Southern Mediterranean flavour with pleasantly fresh, floral and fruity aromas reminiscent of ripe apples, citrus; lemon and a lingering almondy finish.

The first aromatic impression of this locally-grown Vermentino is floral with underlying herbal touches. A tropical fruit flavoured, dry white wine produced entirely from Malta grown Sauvignon Blanc grapes hand picked from individual pocket sized vineyards. Before pressing, the grapes are left in contact with the skins to extract maximum flavour and varietal characteristics. The result is this full flavoured, rich, delicious Sauvignon Blanc.

This locally-grown blend of unusual varieties shows a refined complexity that is immediately announced in its fleshy aromas of stone fruit together with candied lemon hints whilst lightly herbaceous. 17. Gavi – Brogli, Piedmont € 13.90 A straw yellow colour. Persistent and floral bouquet, distinctive of great wines. On the palate it is soft while the balanced acidity highlights the freshness.

18. Gavi di Gavi – Broglia, Piedmont € 18.90

This wine is characterised by its straw yellow colour with pale green reflections. It has a pleasant intensive aroma with a trace of white fruit and light spices of excellent refinement.

19. Vernaccia di San Gimignano - Carpineto, Tuscany € 15.90 Pale straw yellow in colour, with greenish highlights. A very refined bouquet and fruity. Generous notes of sring flowers, harmonious and a clean cut. On the palate it’s vigorous, dry, soft and caressing with a typical bitter aftertaste.

20. Zenato Lugana ‘San Benedetto’ € 18.90 It is a wine of appealing distinctiveness, releasing crisp, fruity aromas that gradually expand to a rich complexity characteristic only of Lugana. The palate is rounded and generous, and has a wonderfully long, savoury finish.

21. Greco di Tufo - Feudo di San Gregorio, Campania € 19.90 The aroma is intense and persistent. On the nose distinct fruity essence from the sweet notes of French green plums to the crunchy freshness of the local “Mast' Antuono” pear.

22. Fiano di Avellino - Feudo di San Gregorio € 21.90 The color is a definitive golden yellow with green reflections. There are sharp sensations of the Mediterranean: fresh flowers such as chamomile, yellow peach and candied orange. On the palate, there are typical notes of the softness of the vine that are supplemented by freshness and minerality.

23. Grillo Parlante – Fondo Antico, Sicily This wine shows a straw-yellow colour with green hues. Its bouquet marries the delicacy of flowers to the sweetness of white fruits while on the palate the wine is dry smooth and balance of acidity and fruit maturation.

French White Wines

24. Pouilly-Fume - Pierre Brevin € 19.50 Intense straw colour, glowing, heavenly ripe, a mix of expressive peachiness and nettles, clearly a vegetal sauvignon, ripe in the mouth, very round, long flinty acidity which holds up the fruit flavour.

25. Chablis - Jean Baptiste Bejot, Burgandy € 21.90 This wine shows an attractive pale straw colour. On the palate it features typical crisp, citrus and mineral flavours which burst on the taste buds and long, mouth-filling fruit flavours which linger.

26. Gewurztraminer - Trimbach, Alsace € 21.90 This Gewurztraminer has a gold colour with a perfumed nose of lychee fruits and spices. The wine is rich, intense, and luscious and the finish is dry and spicy. This wine has great balance and reflects the typical Alsace terriers.

27. Reisling – Trimbach, Alsace € 18.90 This Reisling is bright yellow and has green edges. The pronounces nose shows hints of minerality, while its palate has flavours of white peach, quince and lemon with a lingering clean and dry finish.

Argentinean White Wines

30. Alamos Torrontes – Bodega Nicolas Catena, Mendoza €11.90 Torrentes has a unique expression in Argentina and has often been called the country’s signature white varietals. Alamos Torrentes captures all of the explosive aromatic character of the Argentinean grape, with lively notes of citrys and peach fruit interwoven with delicate layers of jasmine blossom and fresh herbs. The wine is light and fresh on the palate with excellent balance and finishing with bright, crisp acidity.

33. Chenin Blanc - Brown Brothers, Victoria € 12.50 A refreshing white wine, with aromas of honeysuckle, honey drew melon and hints of tropical fruit lingering in the background.

34. Chardonnay - 3 Bridges €17.90 3 Bridges Chardonnay is a fine example of a great Australian Chardonnay. Vibrant straw yellow in colour, this wine is generous with ripe fruit and nutty aromas. Creamy yeast, subtle oak and mouth filling, buttery characters combine with melon and stone fruit to reveal a well structured and flavoursome wine. Finishing long on the palate, this wine will gain added depth and complexity with cellaring.

35. Willunga 100 Viognier € 18.50 Intense floral, spice and glazed apricot aromas on the nose. The palate is nicely balanced with good texture, creaminess and refreshing citrussy acidity. Lovely intense stone fruit continues on the palate with great length and character.

36. 120 Chardonnay – Santa Rita, Central Valley € 13.50 This lively young wine has a soft yellow colour with slightly amber hues. Its vivacious flavour and aroma has luscious tropical notes with delicate undertones of wood that gives complexity to the wine. Its pleasant acidity provides lingering persistency and depth which makes it easy to drink.

37. 120 Sauvignon Blanc – Santa Rita, Central Valley € 13.50 This wine shows a fruity aroma of citrus blossoms and peaches that is well balanced by delicate herbaceous undertones and a pleasant acidity intensifying the wine’s freshness.

38. Sauvignon Blanc Riserva - Santa Helena, Central Valley € 13.90 Straw-coloured with green tones. On the nose, pineapple and citrus aromas combine with floral and herbal notes. 60. Grand Vin de Hautville Shiraz Cabernet D.O.K € 15.90\ Delicata, Malta

A full bodied, fruit packed blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This barrel matured robust wine should be served at room temperature and preferably allowed to breathe before serving. This rich red wine goes particularly well with red meat, rabbit dishes, pasta and game.

61. Laurenti Merlot- Cabernet Sauvignon D.O.K. € 15.90 Camilleri Wines, Malta

The appearance is mature with a medium to deep intensity and a dark chocolate core. It has a clean, medium to pronounced nose with elements of cherries, red berries and forest fruit with hints of dried fruits. The palate is of medium to full-bodied structure with balanced acidity and soft tannins, more evident towards finish.

62. Marnisi D.O.K. € 21.00 Marsovin, Malta

This wine produced from the Marnisi Estate near Marsaxlokk in the South of Malta is a blend of about 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Low yields, ageing of over 12 months in oak barriques produce a concentrated, full-bodied wine with excellent ageing potential. Oak nuances of vanilla with hints of tobacco and dark chocolate combine well wit forest berry notes of blackcurrants and blueberries on the nose. It is well structured, robust wine with a pleasant long lingering finish. Excellent with veal, grilled or roast meats and seasoned cheeses.

Italian Red Wines 63. Barolo – Ca Vergana, Piedmont € 35.90

A wine with a powerful nose of elegant perfume and small red fruits and tobacco enhanced by a velvety palate, underpinned by good acidity with spicy notes on the finish.

64. Valpolicella Ripassa – Zenato, Veneto € 29.90

Deep ruby red, offers rich, elegant, lingering scents; it is crisp and dry in the mouth, well structured, with a lovely, velvety texture.

65. Valpolicella - Zenato, Venoto € 15.90

A pleasant, youthful wine which give off delicate fragrances reminiscent of almonds and violets. The taste is dry and soft with good structure.

66. Insoglio – Tenuto do Biserno, Tuscany € 25.90 The colour of this wine is a ruby red with purple rim reflections. The nose is intensely fruity with a hint of spicy oak, followed by a balanced and harmonious palate which shows ripe fruit supported by a medium intensity and fine tannins. It is a pleasant wine which is ready to drink now but could be aged to gain more complexity.

Its colour shows an intense and brilliant garnet-red robe with pinkish hues and its delicacy, complexity and persistency show a persistent nose with aromas of red berries and vanilla. Portuguese Red Wines 75. Portal Tinto - Quinta Do Portal, Duoro € 8.50

This wine is produced from Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional grape varieties and ages for 9 months in French oak barrels. Ruby in colour shows aromas of ripe red fruit and spices, full-bodied intensity accompanied by smooth but firm tannins.

Argentinean Red Wines 76. Alamos Malbec – Bodega Nocolas Catea, Mendoza € 11.90

This Malbec has a dark, blackish purple colour. The nose shows ripe black fruits, black pepper spice and floral notes. The mouth feel is full yet soft and supple, with black raspberry and currant flavours mingled with black raspberry and currant flavours mingles with notes of sweet spice and touch of leather. The finish is long persistent with soft, sweet tannins.

Australian Red Wines

77. Everton Red - Brown Brothers, Victoria € 12.50 This medium-bodied red wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, whose palate is rich with berry fruit flavours, a juicy rounded mouth feel and fine persistent tannins.

78. Shiraz - Brown Brothers, Victoria € 16.90 A vibrant crimson colour, this medium-bodied wine has fantastic lifted aromas of ripe blackberries, redcurrant and hints of spice. These aromas follow through to the palate which has generous juicy fruit, a fine tannin structure and subtle American oak.

79. Cabernet Sauvignon - 3 Bridges € 17.90 3 Bridges Cabernet is a big intense Cabernet. Spicy blackcurrant and mulberry fruit merge with tobacco, chocolate and mint flavours. Ripe fruit integrated well with cedar and vanillin oak combine to provide complexity, ensuring a well balanced, mouth filling and flavoursome finish. This wine is perfect to drink now or will age well in the medium to long term.

80. Duriff - 3 Bridges € 17.90 3 Bridges Duriff is an intense deep purple colour with a vibrant purple hue. It displays an aromatic blood plum and dark chocolate nose. The full bodied palate of ripe blackberries, plums and chocolate is supported by toasty American oak contributing vanillin and coconut. The palate is rich with a big tannic mouthfeel combined with sweet fruit and warm alcohol. This wine is perfect to drink now but will age in the medium to long term.

81. 100 Shiraz Viognier - Willunga € 18.50 Deep ruby in colour with purple tints. On the nose it is lifted and perfumed with a touch of peachiness coming through from the Viognier and plenty of juicy, smoky bramble fruit from the Shiraz. Well structured with smooth, ripe tannins and great depth.

82. 100 Granache - Willunga € 18.50 Full bright red with purple hue. Intense, dark red fruit and well-integrated cedar and toasty oak. A more intense vintage than the 2005, with darker fruit character and a more weighty structure.

Chilean Red Wines

This wine is a blend of Carmenere, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon blend is a deep and intense ruby red complex and very pleasing blend of fruity aromas that recall plums, blackberries, blueberries and spice along with notes of vanilla and tobacco that come from the oak. It is silky on the palate due to ripe tannins with good volume and depth, with a long, fruity finish.

This wine has a medium bodied intensity and soft integrated tannins, its characteristics reflects the distinctive style of both varietals in the blend. On the palate it features fruit characteristics like plum and mulberry which are supported by vanilla undertones with a hint of spice and white pepper.

This blend of locally grown Vermentino, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc offers an enticing, syrupy aroma of stewed apples. On the palate one finds a soft, seductive sweetness which reinforces the apple notes yet is further enriched by a full fruit-basket of flavours. Harvesting these grapes late has ensured that their level of ripeness is much higher than usual, resulting in an elegant sweetness which makes this wine and ideal dessert compliment yet perfectly enjoyable on its own.

93. Orange Muscat And Flora - Brown Brothers € 11.90 Orange Muscat and Flora is a blend unique to Brown Brothers. Orange Muscat forms the backbone of the blend providing aromas of orange blossom to the nose and a fresh citrus hint to the palate, while the Flora contributes colour, texture and mouth-feel. The current release displays a vibrant yellow colour and a lifted nose showing aromas of citrus blossom, spice and musk. The palate is fresh and tangy with a zesty long clean balanced finish.

Traditional Method Sparkling Wines 96. Cassar de Malte Marsovin, Malta

Malta’s only Brut created entirely using the ‘Methode Traditionnelle’. It owes its character and finesse to the Chardonnay grapes harvested in the Wardija Valley Estate and to a minimum of 12 to 24 months maturing on the yeast lees in the bottle. Its bouquet is typically complex with lingering floral and fruity notes. It is invitingly rich, full in taste and complemented by its pleasant natural sparkle.
