Activity 1: Quickly review the children you work with in relation to achieving total wellness

Chair Based Pilates Stretch Firstly coach participants in to Neutral Spine - Sitting up tall. Shoulders down away from ears. Hands
resting on knees.
• Move 1 - 4 Slow Breaths raising arms to the side.
• Move 2 - Spine Stretch curling forward towards the floor and slowly curling back up to sitting. Repeat 3
times
• Move 3 - Shoulder Roll backwards 3 times move into full stretch backwards arms above the head. Re-
peat 3 times.
Perform Move 1, Move 2 and Move 3 from the beginning and then add on move 4 and 5.
• Move 4 - Spine Twist slowly from right to left. Repeat 3 times
• Move 5 - Clench fists into a ball, then stretch fingers out wide flicking away any grumpy feelings. Repeat
3 times.
Perform Move 1, Move 2, Move 3 and Move 4 and Move 5 from the beginning
