Benchmarking & Portfolio Review MCA utilizes various

benchmarking tools including EPA’s EnergyStar™ as well as energy modeling software to gauge a building’s energy performance in comparison to similar code-compliant buildings, allowing clients to quantify its potential for improvement.

Services MCA offers energy audits and analysis, ranging from preliminary walkthrough audits to detailed investment-grade energy audits, which identify energy conservation measures and quantify energy and cost savings. We base our levels of auditing and analysis on the recommended practices of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

MCA works with clients to develop flexible, yet methodical sustainability strategies to meet any goal—whether you seek a certain high performance energy profile, LEED® or ENERGY STAR® certification across an entire portfolio, or simply the foundation for greener capital upgrades in the future.

For new development projects, MCA develops prescriptive or performance-based guidelines for use by architects, engineers and builders. For existing buildings, we develop efficient operations and maintenance guidelines and provide training to building management staff and owners.
