About the InstituteJaipuria Institute of Management was set up by Seth Anandram Jaipuria Education Society in 2001. It has sprawling campus spread over 5.5 acres on Delhi-Meerut link road within NCR. During this short span of 14 years, under the able guidance of the President, Dr. Rajaram Jaipuria, JIM, is being acclaimed as a leading business school in Northern India. Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, was established by fulfilling all the norms regarding academic, financial and social aspects set by concerned statutory bodies.

The Institute started a full time 2 years master degree course in Business Administration (MBA), from the academic session 2001. The course is duly approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD (Govt. of India) and affiliated to UPTU, Lucknow(U.P.). The 4 Mar keting HaatMercato” - The Marketing Haat, as it is more popularly known, is an innovative tool f o r c o n d u c t i n g m a r ke t re s e a rc h a n d consumer behavior pioneered by JIM. The fair is organized, supervised and conducted by - t h e M a r k e t i n g C l u b o f J I M . A c t i v e participation from the residents of Delhi NCR, who lovingly refer to the fair for purchasing, fun and enjoyment. This initiative of students and institute in large not only the biggest event in the JIM calendar but the biggest marketing event in the country organized by a student body. The event is scheduled to be held on 31st October 2015, Saturday from 1 pm onwards in Ja ipur ia Inst i tute o f Management , Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. “Mercato” - The Marketing Haat is aiming at creating an aspiration value for every student at JIM and helping the MBA students to develop selling, marketing/ branding and motivational skills.

Various product categories like Electronics, Consumer durables, Automobiles, FMCG,

Food, Fashion, Eco- Friendly products, Kids items, Handicrafts, Corporate Gifts, Games, and lots more will be covered with a whole bunch o f en te r t a i nment t h rough L i ve Band/Dance/Musical Performances, running Management/Business Quizzes, Kids Drawing Competition, Baby Show, Bumper Prize etc.The JIM ground hosts the research stalls d isgu ised as gaming sta l l s and popular attractions to simulate an actual fair. The fair and the promotional aimed at relevant target group draws people from Delhi NCR and the adjo in ing areas who par t ic ipate in the disguised research. Games and events are des igned to surrogate actua l research questions. This helps to elicit unbiased and accura te i n format ion about consumer perceptions and preferences. The greatest testament to the power of this Market Research tool lies in the fact that companies have based their strategic business decisions on the research results which have emanated from the event.
