As you’d expect, world-class safety technology is built into every Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

Our ADAPTIVE ESP® is standard on all Sprinters, so you can stay on the straight and narrow. The Mercedes-Benz ADAPTIVE ESP® is designed to assist the driver in maintaining control of the vehicle and intervene automatically when the vehicle detects a potential issue. Where the load of the Sprinter Motorhome may be constantly altering, ADAPTIVE ESP® continually adjusts to the load for added safety. And no matter what sort of road conditions, ABS brakes will help you deal with any surprises along the way.

All added safety features are concealed within a high-strength safety cell that is designed to absorb impact and transfer it away from the driver and passenger.

Every Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is fitted with a driver and front passenger airbag as standard, with the option of including side window airbags and thorax airbags.

Even the smaller details are carefully designed to contribute to a safer journey. Optional Bi-Xenon headlights don’t just show the way clearly with extra illumination at the sides, they have an automatic adjustment to prevent oncoming traffic from being dazzled. Electric mirrors Heated electric mirrors incorporate a wide angle lens and indicators to allow excellent all round visibility, helping to improve safety in all weather conditions.

Automatic transmission Class-leading fully automatic transmission that offers well-spaced ratios for smooth gear changes (standard on V6 turbo diesel models). 7 speed automatic transmission is available for all van models and V6 cab chassis models. 4 cylinder cab chassis models are available with optional 5 speed automatic transmission.

Audio 20 sound system and multifunction steering wheel Features a 12.7cm TFT colour display and single CD and MP3 player, Audio 20 sound system and includes a Bluetooth® interface with hands-free function.

Long range fuel tank A 100-litre fuel tank is available to help extend the operating range.

Cruise control with SPEEDTRONIC Variable speed limiter SPEEDTRONIC assists the driverin adhering to speed limits by setting a maximum speed.

Front window airbags and thorax airbags For greater peace of mind, window airbags and thorax airbags provide an even greater level of protection.

Remote central locking Allows for convenient and easy access to the vehicle and high level security.

PARKTRONIC (Van models only) A highly advanced system that helps make parking even easier. Visual and audio warnings are provided upon detection of obstacles at the front and the rear.

Electronic Stability Programme helps ensure your vehicle remains steady and on course even when the road surface or your load changes.

Swivel seats When stationary, the swivel function allows both the driver and front passenger seats to face rearwards, providing more choices for the layout of your motorhome.

Entrance assist handles On both front doors, handles assist in providing easy access to the cabin.

Heavy duty stabilisation for high bodies (chassis models only) Modified suspension package has been designed by our engineers for vehicles that have a higher than normal centre of gravity, to help reduce body roll and improve stability.

Driver and front passenger airbag When triggered, the airbag deploys within fractions of a second and in conjunction with the seatbelt pre-tensioners, helps provide a high level of protection.

Our comprehensive Mercedes-Benz Motorhome Warranty means peace of mind for three years or until the vehicle has travelled up to 200,000km, for new Mercedes-Benz Motorhomes purchased from authorised Mercedes-Benz dealers in Australia. You’re covered for parts and labour charges incurred in rectifying a manufacturing defect relating to materials or workmanship.

Every Genuine Part has been tested to exacting standards for maximum reliability supported by a two year, and unlimited kilometre warranty.
