Removal of Transmission TRP (Theft Relevant Part) Flag

We have listened to your requests to eliminate the TRP flags on transmissions and conveyed the topic to our Daimler AG colleagues in Stuttgart.

Effective immediately, we have removed the TRP flags from Reman transmissions, as well as non-Reman transmissions.

The removal of the TRP flags will shorten the ordering process between ISPs and your dealership, which should help you with the expansion of your wholesale business.

Illuminated Star for CLA-Class

On September 20th, Mercedes-Benz will expand its vehicle lineup with the all-new 2014 CLA-Class. Featuring an emotional and fresh design coupled with technical innovation, the CLA-Class appeals not only to a youthful generation but also the young at heart. With the arrival of this vehicle, MBUSA Accessories is pleased to announce the availability of one of our newest and most exciting accessory items - the Illuminated Star.

Full-Time Illumination We are excited to announce that full-time illumination {while driving) will be available for the CLA shortly following the vehicle launch. The anticipated arrival of the Illuminated Star with full-time illumination is in October. The CLA will be the first model to include full-time illumination capability. The roll-out of full-time illumination to additional models will be announced in the near future. Please stay tuned for further announcements.

CLA Television Spot On August 26th, the Illuminated Star will be prominently featured in the new CLA television commercial. The commercial is planned to be in heavy rotation in the coming weeks, therefore we anticipate significant customer interest and inquiries on the Illuminated Star and its new feature set.

We believe the addition of the full-time illumination feature together with high exposure from the commercial will generate strong interest from our customers and dealers. We are working closely with our colleagues to ensure that we are prepared to meet customer and dealer needs and request your support while we ramp-up our inventory.

Upgrading COMAND with new navigation data on an NTG3.5 and NTG4.5 system requires access to VeDoc and the navigation tab. Within the tab, the currently installed navigation database is displayed and indicates if an update is available for the vehicle. A VIN specific PIN code can be ordered through VeDoc and must be entered upon inserting the corresponding DVD map update.

Should you not have been granted access yet or experience issues with the overall process, please use the quick tips outlined below.

• No access to VeDoc and the Navigation tab >' Fill out the form on the PAC website {under Forms> VeDoc Web > VeDoc-Web Access Request) >- Having access granted may take up to two weeks

• Access to VeDoc but NOT the Navigation tab >' Create an XSF ticket by clicking on the "Mail Icon" within VeDoc

While creating a PIN for a vehicle, the following issue may arise:

Upon submission of an XSF ticket it may take up to 48 hours to get a response. You will be notified via email that your ticket has been processed. For detailed information you are required to visit the XSF site through the After-Sales portal.
