CONTENTS MERCURY INFLATABLE BOATS...WHEN QUALITY COUNTS.Quicksilver Inflatables changes to Mercury Inflatables! Quicksilver Inflatable Boats is now Mercury Inflatable Boats - but while the name has changed, the legendary quality remains. With the change comes innovation and improved specifications. Most boats will feature rounded end cones and their outside length will reduce but the internal dimensions will remain the same. For detailed specifications refer to pages 22 and 23 of this brochure.

THE MERCURY ADVANTAGEThey’re easy to store, easy to inflate, easy to transport, easy to launch, and very easy on the pocket. As a ship-to-shore craft, or as a go-anywhere boat in its own right, Mercury Inflatable Boats makes a whole lot of sense.

Oarlock System. The oarlock system design has been redesigned so the oars can be fixed in a simple and secure way.

Boat shown is for illustrative purposes. Both HP and PVC options conform to similar layouts and design.

Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Seat. All Mercury Inflatable Boats feature a durable FRP seat to eliminate cracking, decay and slivers.

Inflatable Keel. All models are equipped with an inflatable keel under the floor for better performance (excluding rigid hull boats).

Bow Handles. Extra handles inside the tube provide a more secure grip as well as additional holding points.

Double tear-drop rub strake.

The double tear-drop rub strake helps to

reduce splashing and provide your boat with

better shock resistance.

ABS-Coated Transom. The ABS coating protects

against cracking and decay. All transoms

are made waterproof by two heavy-duty ABS layers, which

ensure greater durability compared to traditional

plywood transoms.

Drain Plug. The inside drain valve

provides you the luxury of draining from the inside, quickly and

easily.

Lifting Handles. The boats are equipped

with contemporary lifting handles that also can be used as

Mercury Inflatables are produced with Mehler Haku®, a heavy-duty, long-life fabric, which offers excellent resistance against UV, cuts, abrasions and normal wear and tear. This fabric also offers maximum resistance against high temperature, moisture and dirt.

Mercury Inflatables offer one of the best guarantees in the market including 3 years warranty on the Mehler Haku® fabric and air holding thermowelded seams giving you assurance of our commitment to quality (excluding Dinghy Series).

Mercury applies the exclusive technique of THERMOWELDING when assembling the Mehler Haku® PVC fabric of its tubes. This process combines fusion welding with high pressure bonding of double internal/external tapes, and is used to assemble the different parts of the tubes with welds stronger than the material itself.

n Achilles® HP is a super-tough synthetic rubber fabric with an inner layer of Neoprene. Extensive testing has shown that Achilles® HP out-performs other materials, such as PVC in abrasion, oil, petrol, chemical, and weather resistance.

Air Deck floorAll Air Deck models feature X-stitch inflated floor, providing additional floor rigidity compared with traditional drop-stitching. Our Air Deck floors also feature anti-slip patches. The Dinghy series features a light weight I-bar air floor.

Slatted floor The Roll up models are equipped with spaced floor slats that make set-up and storage a breeze.

Sport FloorSport models are equipped with a sectional fibreglass floor. Fibreglass floors are more water resistant than traditional plywood floors.

Aluminium FloorThe Aluminium floor is featured on all Heavy Duty models. These are highly resistant floors suited for demanding applications or extensive use.

Rigid Hull floorThe Ocean Runner and Dynamic models feature rigid fibreglass hulls. The Ocean Runner has a sandwich-laminated fibreglass V-hull for incredible performance and a flat floor.

The Dynamic RIB series features a laminated fibreglass hull with VITECH® (Vacuum Injection Technology) process, moulding the hull and transom as one piece for incredible strength-to-weight ratio.

The 200, 240 and 270 Dinghys weigh a paltry 16, 20 and 23 kilograms respectively and roll up into a bag only 1 metre long!
