NYC Urban Studio Housing Project Homes are now integrated into the external local and global spheres, but how do we begin to integrate homes with one another and then small communities for social connectivity? The architecture of the home in NYC should provide ambiguity, specifically within the wall. It should prompt attention, examination, and an awareness to the user. Are these walls solid? Virtual? Images? Who is beyond them? Walls should fa-cilitate interaction and social occurrences between dwellers. The wall becomes the movement of people, how they observe and how they are observed. The project plays with different materiality of walls within to allow for different interactions and experiences throughout.

Comprehensive Studio: In design collaboration with Alexander Strzelecki. Design of a mixed use, office, commercial tower in the Hudson Yards district in manhattan. The skin of the tower provides for an efficient and sustainable environment that houses public and private park spaces. The diagrid envelope creates hollow spaces between offices and apartments for passive ventilation, which allows for stack effect within the envelope space to travel up the building and release through the roof.

Hobart & William Smith DormitoryDesign of a dormitory on the Hobart and William Smith Colleges campus. The building consists of a student center, an auditorium space, as well as bedrooms for students. Both using the monastery as a precedent for design as well as a careful consideration of the surrounding ho-mogeneous landscape, a form for the project emerged.

Prototype Project: Billboard HotelHotel: Re-imagining of the hotel as a social and economic connecting node. The Hotel serves as a platform for connecting people doing business in the same areas using the bedroom as the prototypical module. The mod-ule is equipped with a smart board and several screens that serve to communicate with the people within, and advertise on the exterior to the people outside. The module is dispersed throughout the larger mega-structure to form a the greater billboard. The project investigates the intersection between programmatic needs (hotel), ubiquitous computing (smart board), formal limitations and organizational strategies.

Live-Work Advertising FirmDesign for a live work space with a ubiquitous computing device in mind by creating a network of communication between occupants and cli-ents that is constantly in flux, dynamic visual and physical relationships are produced in spaces. The project investigates the conditions of communal live work space as a network, both digitally and physically. The design also meditates between physical and digital exchange in these networks. The space serves as an advertising firm, that enables one to view the firms work , but to also directly interact with em-ployees producing the advertisements.

Venice Film Museum Design for a film museum dedicated to Francis Ford Coppola, director of the film The Godfather. Through the analysis of cinematic mes en scene, in the film, a formal strategy and language emerged. The design entails a large piano nobile that houses exhibition and library spaces, while the top floor encapsulates auditorium spaces that look over the Venice water.
