JK Merry Christmas Everyone The term finished in style with the children performing in their Christmas productions. Our youngest children took to the Tadworth stage for the first time and showed real confidence with the microphone, singing beautifully and throwing in the occasional dance move. Year 1 and 2 joined forces to share the story ‘Born in a Barn’. Unforeseen sickness struck many of the cast members for their second show but the children (and staff) did a great job getting through the performance! The Year 3 / 4 Panto had the audience rolling in the aisles and our Years 5 / 6 completed the programme with their stunning Spanish take on a Traditional Christmas at our local church. My thanks to the whole staff team who work so tirelessly putting together these truly memorable productions; to parents for their support with costumes, learning lines and attendance at the events; and above all to the children for entertaining us all. On top of all these performances, 15 children from Years 5 and 6, went and sung carols at a local nursing home accompanied by Miss Rollason. The children also enjoyed Christmas Parties in their year groups, including Reception children seen in the photo. On Wednesday afternoon, we drew our FroTh organised raffle. It raised over £1300.00 which is a fantastic figure for the new library. Our thanks to Heather Andrews for all her hard work on the raffle (and fair). A list of prize winners can be found on the FroTh website . Yesterday, we had a fantastic day with almost 300 children having a Christmas Dinner joined by most of the staff. The food was excellent and the festive atmosphere, truly memorable—our thanks to the kitchen team for all of their hard work in coolly catering for such a large number! I can’t wait for next years! We would like to congratulate Miss Rollason on her forthcoming wedding and look forward to welcoming her back as Mrs Clarke when we return to school on Wednesday 5 January 2011. May I take this opportunity to wish all of you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. . Merry Christmas Everyone The term finished in style with the children performing in their Christmas productions. Our youngest children took

to the Tadworth stage for the first time and showed real confidence with the microphone, singing beautifully and

throwing in the occasional dance move. Year 1 and 2 joined forces to share the story ‘Born in a Barn’. Unforeseen

sickness struck many of the cast members for their second show but the children (and

staff) did a great job getting through the performance! The Year 3 / 4 Panto had the

audience rolling in the aisles and our Years 5 / 6 completed the programme with their

stunning Spanish take on a Traditional Christmas at our local church. My thanks to

the whole staff team who work so tirelessly putting together these truly memorable

productions; to parents for their support with costumes, learning lines and attendance

at the events; and above all to the children for entertaining us all. On top of all these

performances, 15 children from Years 5 and 6, went and sung carols at a local nursing

home accompanied by Miss Rollason. The children also enjoyed Christmas Parties in

their year groups, including Reception children seen in

On Wednesday afternoon, we drew our FroTh organised

raffle. It raised over £1300.00 which is a fantastic figure for the new library. Our
