REFLECTIONS FROM THE INSIDE Keep Christ at the Core of all you think, say, and do.
This week has been a hustle and bustle of activity as I am sure you
all know. Carols were played, musical performed, holiday crafts
created, and gifts exchanged. Just a small piece of what I am sure is
happening in many of our lives…busyness. As I sit here and look back
through it all, I can’t help but notice God’s hand amid the flurry of
events. Although we were busy, we successfully practiced our first
Code Red. The kids and teachers stayed calm, quiet and took it very
seriously. We were given the opportunity to witness a military father
being reunited with his family after serving in Kuwait. We celebrated
mass and heard how Joseph, though a quiet man, diligently stayed
faithful to God and Mary. Showing us all that even the meek can
serve. We ended with Linus’ retelling of what Christmas is all about.
My Christmas wish for you all is that as you journey toward Christmas
may you too recognize the gift of Christ even among the busyness.

Prayer: Fourth Week of
Advent
Dear Jesus,
Angels sung out, “Behold I
bring unto you good tidings
of great JOY!” That great
JOY was the news of your
birth. How the hearts of your
believers must have sung out
too. May our hearts sing out
with JOY as we take time to
realize your Greatness. May
we too sing out with JOY the
great news of your promise
to others.
Christ, Light of JOY, be with
us. AMEN

INSIDE SPOTLIGHT
Mrs. Schurger’s class is experimenting once again!
The Crusader
Second graders enjoyed playing a game called "roll and cover." It's played with two dice and their goal is to
add the two dice together to get a certain number. Once all numbers are covered, they win. Looks like they
are really enjoying it
