ISTANBULİstanbul is one of the most important places in the world.The city is spread over an area of 7.500 km2 150 km long and 50 km wide.It became the biggest and the most crowded city of Europe because it’s lo-cation is between Asia and Europe, The city always has had a great geopolitical importance.Its popula-tion is approximately between 11 to15 million.About 2 million tourists visit İstanbul every year.They see the historical and natural beauties of the city. The city has lots of historical mosques,church-es and museums.THE ÇAMLICA HILLÇamlıca hill is the highest hill in İstanbul.It is 263 m. high from the sea level.It was used as a picnic area in the 1980s.There are some restaurants and cafes there.You can spend time and enjoy the view of Çamlıca .THE TAKSIM SQUAREThe large square at the end of the Istıklal street is the Taksim square, which is one of the most active centers of İstanbul.The square is the most import-ant place for Istanbul.There are a lot of people from different countries.There are a lot of big department stores. ANTALYA ONE OF THE FAMOUS CITIES IN TURKEY

Antalya is a city in Mediterraanean Region.It is one of Turkey’s most developed touristic cities.

It has a nice landscape and favorable conditions for tourism and holiday opportunities…

For this reason,a lot of foreign tourists prefer this city.

This item is one of my most valuable and favourite one .It is my brother’s present“Statue of Liberty”. My brother lives in the USA .He always wanted me to vis-it him but I was very busy here in Turkey so I couldn’t do that but last year I went to the USA to see him. I travelled by plane for the first time. I thought my luggage would be with me when I changed planes but when I landed in the USA I understood that my luggage was in France. It was a nice experience for me because I tried to talk in English to the foreign workers. My english wasn’t so good but they understood me.!! They brought my luggage to the address I gave them. We waited for 4 days for my luggage. On the fifth day, my luggage came home. By the way, I wore the same clothes for 4 days. I saw my brother’s university there. I saw how he worked and lived. I tasted the food. We went to Boston and NewYork. I went to nightclubs and restaurants in NewYork. People were very relaxed and kind. My brother had bought this statue for me a year before and I saw it when I woke up in the morning. It made me very happy. I think it will be a good memory. My dream house is in the forest. The house is made of wood. It has got a fantastic sea view. There is a big garden in front of my house. It has got two floors. There are several flowers and a tree around house. There are three bedrooms, a big living_room and a large kitchen , two bathrooms. It has got big and spacious balcony.

MY FAVOURITE HOUSE

In living_room, there is a small and sweet table and chairs around. There are brown armchairs, a fire-place and antique wares. The rug is under the table. The shelfs in front of the wall. The coffe table be-tween the two armchairs and also the library is near the armchair.

 

In my favourite bedroom,the furnituree is made of wood and stone. It should be relaxed and comfortable. There is a big bed, a mirror, a red chair, a clothes tree and brown chest of drawers. I have got a telephone in my favourite room. There is a chest of drawers next to the bed, the mirror on the wall and the mirror near the bed. The rug is under the chair.  

My favourite bolcony is wide. And it has got a sea view. I drink coffe with my friends in the future.I will drink coffee with my friends in my future favourite house.

My Dream HouseMy dream house is in the middle of a forest. It's made of wood. In the backyard there is a little pond.In the pond there are ducks, swans and frogs. Also I have a wolf. There are lanterns on the trees. There is a greenhouse where I can grow my own vegetables. My house has two floors. There is a bedroom and a bathroom on the wooden stairs. From the ceiling window, we can watch the stars in the sky at night. There is a big kitchen, a living room downstairs and there is a big fire place in the middle of the room.This is my dream. MY DREAM HOUSE My dream house is in a guiet farm.It is overlooking a lake.I have very nice wooden house.There is a big garden and a lake in front of my wooden house.It has got two floors.There are bedrooms a big living room a small kitchen and bathrooms.There isn’t a balcony.In our livingroom,there is a big blue carpet and small armchairs.The fireplace,is next to the middle of the house.The table is opposite the door.It has got stairs . I love my house.There is a wind in the gargen.

It is population is approximately 15 million.Every year, around 2 millions tourists visit İstanbul.They visit the historical and natural beauties of the city.The city has a lot of historical mosques,churches and museums.THE SÜLEYMANIYE MOSQUEIt was built by Architect Sinan, the most famous architect in Otto-man history between 1550-1557 Süleymaniye Mosque, according to the construction reports of those days,5.723 workers (of these 1713 are muslims, 3.523 Christians ) completed the construction in 7 years.The cost of the mosque is $60 million today.

ANTALYAAntalya is a holiday paradise in a lovely natural setting. The pine-clad Toros Mountains sweep down to the crystal clear sea forming an irregular coastline of rocky headlands and secluded caves.The region is bathed in sunshine for 300 days of the year and It’s perfect for a lazy holiday of sunbathing and swimming, or for sporting activities such as windsurfing, water-skiing, sailing, mountain climbing, hunting and spelunking. Important historical sites await discovery in these marvellous surroundings, which are home to a rich variety of plant and wildlife, and which are now protected as a conservation area. Holidaymakers will find everything here and they can imagine everything for a perfect vacation in it. Beaches on the coast of Antalya can be called as Turkish Riviera with its wide ranging accomodation, from tourist class to deluxe hotels, the hospitable people of Antalya are always ready to welcome you. My Daily Routine

I wake up at 6:30 in the morning. I get up at 6:45. I take a shower, get dressed and put on make-up. Then I have breakfast with my family. For breakfast I have cereal, fruit and toast. I brush my teeth and put on my coat and shoes. I leave the house at about 8. I take the bus to school and arrive at 8:45. I study from 9:00 to 11:30. I have a coffee break and at 1pm I have lunch. My dream room is in a happy neighbourhood. It has got a fantastic view. It is very big and I love it.There is a big garden in front of my room. In my room, there is a big red sofa. I will write about one of my my favorite sing-ers,Murat Boz.Murat Boz was born on March 7,1980. He was born in Zonguldak. His father and moth-er died. He has a brother. He is a university graduate. He is tall and thin and he has green eyes. He loves to eat artichokes.He has many songs but my favorite one is ‘The Kiss of Life’.He is one of the jury members of the ‘Song Contest ‘.He received 16 awards. Murat has a new girlfriend nowadays. SİNOPThe province of sinop is located at the most northern point of the black sea region and at the most norrow sec-tion of the Boztepe peninsula.The province is one of the most beautiful natural seaports of the black sea region.Sinop is one of the oldest cities of the region and greek philosopher Diogenes was born in Sinop.The city provides amazing wiews and beauties to its visitors with the beaches which lie from one end to an-other.Ayancık,Boyabat,Dikmen,Durağan,Erfelek,Gerze,Saray-düzü,Türkeli are in its neighborhood .The climate in sin-op province is cool in summer.The effect of the black sea region decreases in the southern and central parts of the city.İt’s in the black sea region and it is covered with rich forests and natural beauties.There are nice places you have to see in sinop.You have to taste mantı, nokul (with mina meat and gropes),ıslama (with chicken) .You can find and buy worldwide famous souvenirs, cutter and fishing boot models,touristic steel blades and linen textils.  

ORCHIDA FLOWERS

They are diverse and widespread family of flowering plants,which bloom.They are colorful.There are between 22.000 and 26.000 species in 880 genera.They don’t grow up only in tropical regions. Orchids are some of the most commonly grown houseplants, too.If they have proper growing conditions,they show healthy and rapid growth,it is easy to take care of orchid plants.They make excellent accent planting to nearly only home decoration. Everyday I get up at 10:00.Then,I wash my face and hands.I say 'good morrning' to my parents.I have breakfast at 11:00.I eat cheese,honey,tomato,eggs and jam for breakfast.I usually drink green tea.I never drink coffee for breakfast.After breakfast, I brush my teeth.I prepare my school bag.Then I go to school.At school, I usually eat toast before the lessons.I listen to Meral Engin teacher carefully.I usually take notes during the lesson.I play pinball with my friends.We sometimes go to the canteen and drink coffee.After school, I come home.I usually watch TV.I talk to my family. I generally look at the messages and answer my friends. After that I listen to music and think about my day.Then I go to bed and sleep.

Hi! My name is Muhammet. I live in Istanbul with my family,my mom, dad my brother and my sis-ter. I’m a student at Okan University.My brother is in the army now. My sister also goes to school. İstanbul is a nice and a very crowded city. It has a lot of historical places .Some of them are Aya-sofya, Sultan Ahmet, Topkapı Palace. İn summer a lot of tourists come here to see the beauty of our city. İstanbul has a lot of shopping centers. Every-thing here is perfect. The sea view is wonderful and you can find all kind of fish. There a lot fish species. There is a lot of delicious food. İn my free time, I listen to music and go to the cinema with my friends at the weekends.

ÇANAKKALE

My favorite city is Çanakkale. Because of its climate, natural, beauty and historical im-portance.Çanakkale is in the west of Turkey. This city has wonderful climate. In summer, tem-perature extremely increases; however sea is quite cold and you can cool of quickly. Sea is also clear and you can see a lot of fish spe-cies.On the other hand, Çanakkale is important in terms of history. Turkish soldiers fought against emperialism and won the war.That is why this city impresses me a lot. Res-idents of the city are quite, calm and hospi-table. There is a martyrdom monument in the city center.To sum up, Çanakkale is one of the most be-atiful cities and I like this place a lot…

Is learning English difficult ?

If you learn English, you can do a lot of joyful activ-ities. You make foreign friends, play English games and watch films or series. We went to the cinema with three friends today. We had fun, at the same time we practiced.We watched a film called The Revenant. The film's leading actor is Leonardo DiCaprio. He has got an excellent talent of acting. We believe that he will win an Oscar this time. Bear and revenge parts of the film affected us. In short, both having fun and learn-ing English is possible. Do not exaggarate it, learning English is not always boring.
