Hats UP to the DPRO Team for this issue of the newsletter!

As we excitingly entered the term 2010/11, joy surrounded the new team of

leaders to strive towards ACHIEVING GREATNESS TOGETHER. Thrilled by

what is in store, cheered by the ever-supportive members and inspired by self-

motivation, all of us took the positions courageously to serve the best we can.

This organization is all about members and their transformational journey in

becoming a competent communicator and an effective leader. Some may

choose to go at a snail pace while the rest may want to sprint to their

accomplishment. Either way is perfectly alright as every individual reserve their

right to set the pace. The paramount importance should be our self-set goals.

Having said that, without a definite time frame, we may then procrastinate –

thus giving room to weaken our momentum. Therefore, we should all strive to

draw up timelines and move on to reap the benefits of Toastmasters.

Upholding the CORE VALUES of Toastmasters International should be the

utmost important task of each and every member in the District. The Executive

Team of the district is committed in leading the members towards the

accomplishment of the CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS, which testifies the

ultimate growth of an individual in Toastmasters. Members are constantly

reminded to reflect upon the progressive stages of their track and take the

appropriate steps to ensure a timely growth.

Preaching humility in the most simplistic approach would attract the warmth and

positive energy to learn, grow and share.

Let us continue to learn as much as we can, embrace those lessons to enable

our growth, while sharing the best practices to help everyone undergo the

MAGICAL TRANSFORMATION via Toastmasters!

Join me on this HUMBLE & SIMPLE journey towards ACHIEVING

GREATNESS TOGETHER in District 51!

The new term kicked off with training via the TLI team headed by Dennis Wee as the TLI Chair and Palaniappa

as the Co-Chair. The TLI team, which also comprises of Kuok Sum, Choi San and Wendy Wong, has indeed

planned and delivered a program in line with the requirements by Toastmasters International as well as

catered to the needs of the club officers. They have done a terrific job and we look forward to another inspiring

round in December.

Club leaders, have you charted your course for your clubs and started the journey yet? Please get in touch with

your Area Governors or Division Governors if there is any doubt in any area. Our main and primary concern is

our members. Let us do our best to help them realise their objectives of becoming better speakers and more

confident individuals. It is through their own personal achievements that they can say ―Yes, I have done it‖ and

continue the journey with passion in Toastmasters.

Having just returned from the Toastmasters International Convention in Palm Desert, a whole new scene at

another level has opened up for me. It has confirmed my outlook of a new dimension for the organisation. We

should never be static but keep moving. The many elderly members in their seventies and eighties at that

Convention were such an awe to behold as they came in their motorised machines or with crutches just to be

with Toastmasters. Continue to be useful to the organisation and be involved – not for position nor for power

but for the purpose which comes with it and for the members.

There is so much in life to give out of care, out of concern and out of love. Let‘s continue our journey in

Toastmasters and be generous with our care, concern and love as we help to share and shape members with a

true purpose of being there for them. Toastmasters is more than just delivering speeches and chasing points. It

is about challenging ourselves and pushing ourselves to the next level as we complete our speeches and as

we take up leadership roles. It is about stepping up and saying ―I can do it and I will do it‖.

So let‘s do it together as members of District 51.

Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

It is indeed an honour and privilege to be able to serve you as Lieutenant

Governor Education & Training for the term 2010/2011. This is even more

significant as we start the term as a new District 51 solely with clubs

concentrated in the Peninsular. I take this opportunity to thank you for your

belief and trust in me to lead in this position.

Some of the leads have turned out to be an entity thanks to the perseverance of the people behind it, whilst

some are ongoing but the people behind those leads have not given up as they continue to pursue relentlessly.

Syabas to these great people in their unwavering pursuit! With new clubs being chartered, it means a greater

number of people are able to benefit from the Toastmasters programme.

We are now fast approaching the middle of Oct 2010 and I am happy to note that 82% of the clubs in the

District have paid up their October dues. The remaining 12 % have pledged to settle their dues as soon as

possible. It is important to maintain the ―member/club in good standing‖ status to continue to enjoy the benefits

from the Toastmasters programme.

As was promised by the District, clubs who have achieved 90% renewals as at Oct 1st will be handsomely

rewarded and we are now analysing the reports to identify the clubs. Also as was mentioned earlier, the District

will be coming out with more interesting rewards for individual and club achievements, and they will be timely

revealed as we move along.

We need new blood and new clubs because when we have more together, we can achieve more. Continue to

recruit and construct, as our mission is to expose the Toastmasters programme to as many people as we can

so that they too can enjoy the benefits of the programme. In giving we receive, and in sharing we grow.

So dear members, let‘s put our shoulders to the wheel and work as a team to secure the goals that we have set

for ourselves in the quest for greatness, either as an individual or as a club.

Thank you for your support.

LGM 2010-2011

Dear Members of D51,

Warm greetings from your LGM.

Gosh, how time flies! Three solid months have passed by and it seems like only

yesterday that I assumed the LGM‘s office and portfolio. Barely warming the seat, my

senior district colleagues and I had to train as well as be trained, after which I had to

follow up with the Divisions on their progress with regards to the status of leads on new

clubs, and more importantly the October dues. Challenging but worthwhile as it gives me

the opportunity to touch base with them.

MESSAGE FROM THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR MARKETING

Dear Members of D51

Warm greetings!

I am glad that our first issue of this e-newsletter is finally out. I wish to thank my Public Relations Team in

making this possible. They had worked tirelessly in editing and publishing this piece of great work. I also wish

to thank all the contributors for submitting their articles to us. With this newsletter, we are sharing the

happenings and news in the district to all the members out there. I hope you will find this newsletter beneficial

and informative. We plan to publish three more issues of newsletters during this term. I sincerely welcome all

your feedback and we will try to improve on our shortcomings in the future editions.

Apart from this newsletter, to further enhance our communication with all of you, you can expect to receive on-

going email messages from us. This is one way the district reaches out to members like you, as we hope to

keep you better informed with all the latest developments in the district. Lots of information will also be

available to you via our District website at www.tmdistrict51.org. If you have not logged in to the website before,

it is time for you to do so. My team of webmasters are always working hard in maintaining and updating the

site. I am working to ensure the site is always up to date, without too much fancy artwork and design. Your

feedback on our website is always welcome, too.

Part of my job as the District Public Relations Officer is to engage the public to promote awareness of our

fantastic Toastmasters program. To achieve that, I need all your help to promote the awareness as well. In

fact, I know some of our officers have already been doing that, as I have seen news and articles on

Toastmasters appearing in our local media. To all these enthusiastic members, please continue to do so and

keep up with the good work.

With that, I wish all of you a great term ahead, be it taking part actively in our Toastmasters educational

program, or serving as officers at the various levels. Please make full use of your membership. Only then it will

benefit you.

Thank you very much and see you soon.

Warmest regards,

Koay Kah Hin, ACB, ALS

Immediate Past District 51 Governor

The 79th Toastmasters International Annual Convention was held from 11-14 August 2010 at

the Desert Springs, JW Marriott Resort and Spa, Palm Desert, California. (Approximately

220 km’s from Los Angeles airport).

The 2010-2011 year marks a change in Toastmasters‘ District Leader Training. For the first

time, the North American district leaders as in district governors and lieutenant governors

received training together with district leaders outside North America at the International

Convention; the sessions were held for two days before the Convention officially started.

The training consisted of all leaders together with break out by officer role and also into

small groupings.

Our District Leaders, District Governor Thannimalai, DTM, Lieutenant Governor Education

and Training Sue Chan, DTM and Lieutenant Governor Marketing Ramdas Nayar, DTM

attended the District Leaders Training during Tuesday and Wednesday followed by

interviewing of candidates for International Director and Second Vice President positions. In

addition, seven mid-year training sessions will be held for the new 14 regions. (District 5,

which is in region 14, will have its training alongside regions 12, 13 and 14 in Kuala Lumpur

in January 14th & 15th 2011).

Over 1,600 Toastmasters travelled to the International Convention from all over the world to

learn, share and grow within the list of events and activities at the convention. The events

included the Opening ceremony and keynote speakers, Nine International Speech Contest

Semi-finals, Hall of Fame Ceremony, Golden Gavel Dinner, World Championship of Public

Speaking, President's Dinner Dance and networking with Toastmasters from all over the

world.

During the Wednesday night opening ceremony, District Governor Thannimalai, DTM

paraded the Malaysian Flag for District 51 in the traditional Parade of Flags, which featured

veteran TV host – and Toastmaster – Todd Newton delivering an inspiring keynote message,

―Put Your Best into Action‖.

10

THURSDAY AUGUST 12th 2010

A very early start, 7.30 am with a Board of Directors briefing. International President Gary

Schmidt, DTM gave his President‘s Report followed by the Executive Director Dan Rex,

DTM who reported on the changes in Toastmasters which included the change to global

regions, district leaders training, region advisors and headquarters staff. Update on

statistics – 262,000 members, 12,502 clubs in 113 countries. Other changes included

distinguished areas, distinguished divisions and distinguished districts to be aligned to the

distinguished club program effective 1 July 2012. Details are available on the Toastmasters

International website.

Hall of Fame 9.00am - We attended the Hall of Fame recognizing the 2009-2010 District

Leaders – President‘s, Select and Distinguished Districts. The Top six districts were

honored as President‘s Distinguished (District 82, 47, 85, 25, 79 and 59), six districts as

Select Distinguished (43, 46, 37, 57, 8 and 80) and 31 districts as Distinguished Districts.

District 51 was honored for achieving Distinguished District at 14th spot, meeting all the four

critical success factors goals outlined by TI. Excellence in Education and Training Awards,

Excellence in Marketing Awards were also awarded. 2009-2010 Lieutenant Governor

Education and Training Thanni, DTM and Md. Ariff, DTM received the Excellence in

Education and Training award for District 51 being recognition/contribution by all members

who achieved Competent Communicator awards or Advanced Communicators awards

during the term. Lieutenant Governor Francis Ng, DTM and Mien Soenari, DTM received

the Excellence in Marketing award for meeting the membership and club goals.

International Speech Contest Semi-Finals: 3.00 – 8:30pm

For the first time, Toastmasters held a semi-final speech contest at the International

Convention. This year nine contests were held , each with nine district contestants. Three

semi-final contests were run in parallel commencing 3.00 pm, 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm. The

winners of each of the nine semi-finals — representing regions from around the world —

advanced to the final round of WCPS on Saturday.

Our District Champion Stephen Fernando (2nd placing inter district contest in USA 2004)

competed in the semi-final contest 4 alongside eight other district champions including Eric

Rainey who won 3rd placing in the WCPS 2009.

Stephen Fernando despite his charm, wit and charisma was unsuccessful this time in

search for the top spot. Equally surprising was that even Eric Rainey failed in his quest.

The winner from contest 4 went to District 73 champion Linus Chang of Victoria, Australia.

Golden Gavel Dinner: 7.00pm

Honoring Carolyn Kepcher as Toastmasters‘ 2010 Golden Gavel recipient. Carolyn Kepcher

charmed the crowd (including District 51 & 87 officers) with her acceptance speech at the

Golden Gavel Dinner on Friday evening. Kepcher rose to national prominence as Executive

Vice President of The Trump Organization and is widely known for her role on the NBC

series The Apprentice. Regarded as a tough leader in business, and in particular, women in

business, Kepcher now dispenses career advice through her column for the New York Daily

News, her business book, Carolyn 101, and her new venture, WorkHerWay.com.

The Golden Gavel, Toastmasters' highest honor, is given annually to a distinguished

individual in the fields of communication and leadership.

11

SATURDAY, AUGUST 14TH 2010

Annual Business Meeting: 7.00 am

Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, was elected by the membership to serve as the

In addition, new international officers and Board members were elected. Michael Notaro, of

Alter Ego", and Linus Chang (contest 4 winner) of Victoria, Australia, with his speech titled

"Being Jane".

The San Antonio, Texas, resident won with a masterful speech that centered on a childhood

friendship. His was among several deeply moving speeches delivered in the finals.

President‟s Dinner Dance: 7.30 pm Dine and dance in elegance was the extravagant

closing event. Past International President Jana Barnhill, DTM, AS presides over the

These sessions have vastly benefited many new club officers in terms of learning

about the direction and objectives of District 51 under the capable leadership of our

Humble and Simple District Governor, L Thannimalai DTM. They learnt about their duties as a club officer as

well as how they can make their journey of serving more interesting and fulfilling.

The sessions were not only attended by the club officers, but also by their club members. This was indeed a

valuable opportunity to help ordinary members prepare for their future roles and leadership.

Congratulations to all the elected club officers! We wish you a truly fruitful journey as a club officer. Every

challenge that comes to us along the way is a test on our leadership skills. Have fun along the way.

Remember, you are not alone - your Area Team, Division Team and District Team are always with you!

Division B Humorous Speech & Evaluation Contests

Organising Chair: Gan Poh Lin (Kuantan TMC)

Date: 25 September 2010

Location: Kolej Putra Interlek, Puchong

Despite the wet and rainy afternoon, the ambience at the Division B Humorous Speech & Evaluation contests

was warmed by the arrival of our District Governor L Thannimalai DTM, Immediate Past District Governor

Ritchie Chong DTM, Division C Governor NK Valli ACG CL, Division W Governor Vincent Hor DTM, Division M

Governor Koh Siew Keng CC ALB, District Club Extension Chair Francis Ng DTM, District Club Coach Chair

Sue Ding DTM and District Pidato Coordinator Zaharah Ibrahim DTM .

The whole afternoon started with our stylish Toastmaster of the Day, G Sivalingam DTM, leading all of us into

the exciting Humorous Speech Contest chaired by Christine Lum, followed by the Evaluation Speech Contest

chaired by Johnson Yike.

In the Humorous Speech Contest, all the five contestants never failed to tickle our funny bones. The audience

never stopped laughing all the way from the Korean Drama, how Toastmasters transformed into

Transformers, the precious Children Sex Education story, the mother-in-law lessons and the „stinky‟

but „unbelievable‟ Yunnan trip experience.

After a short break, Evaluation Contest Chair Johnson Yike took charge. The five contestants set a very serious

mood among the audience. Everyone quietly and attentively listened to our contestants one after

another. They were eager to listen and learn a skill or two from the five „Evaluation Kung Fu Masters‟

with their „Evaluation Kung Fu Skills‟. Eventually, the ‗Master of the Masters‘ in Division B Evaluation

Contest was born.

Here we go and the winners are:

~Stories of Sacrifice and Success to Inspire ~

Division C‟s Super-charged, Hyper Proactive Clubs

The wave of Humorous Speech and Evaluation

contests has crashed on the shores of Division C with a

splash of resounding success. Our champions Margie

Sham Kaur (Humorous Speech contest) from Extol

TMC and Tan Ken Wayne (Speech Evaluation

contest) from IEM TMC, were overwhemingly

congratulated and warmly embraced on 2nd Oct 2010.

Div C Governor, NK Valli, assured both champions

that they will be given a full convention package for the

18th D51 Semi Annual Convention to be held at the KL

Legend Hotel on 29-31 Oct 2010. Now all we can do is

wait with bated breath and build a mountain of hope

that both Margie and Tan will make our Division proud.

We all know they have the aura, ammunition and

armour of a champion to stand tall.

In this edition of the District 51 newsletter, we have

many super-charged, hyper proactive and successful

clubs in Division C but we wish to feature 3 of these

clubs. All 3 achieved President‘s Distinguished status

in 2009-2010, and each of them has their own unique

success story to amaze and astound many of us

ordinary folks.

Shaklee Dynamic Family

Toastmasters Club

(Club 4391, Area C6)

On 6th of July, the club had its first

meeting for this term. The new

President, Samuel Selvaraju ACS, CL

welcomed the presence of Area C6

Governor, Jamila Khan ACS, ALB as

well as many notable members from the

Klang Valley such as Francis Ng DTM

who was the GE on that day.

As evident from the pictures below,

there were generous smiles and

helpings of goodwill all round to set the

hearts of even the most timid at ease.

Well done, Shaklee Dynamic Family

TMC!

EXTOL Toastmasters Club

(Club 4934 in Area C3)

This club leaves no avenue unexplored

to make its name reverberate with a

familiar ring within and outside Division

C. Extol is a model club with a

formidable line of 4 DTMs sitting in its

EXCO - Kwa Ngan Eng DTM(Club

President), Patricia Tan DTM, SK

Ratnam DTM (Treasurer) and Azmi

Shahrin DTM . The club constantly

weaves in innovative ways to enliven

their meetings by inviting guest

speakers from other clubs or by having

joint meetings with other clubs of

different backgrounds or age groups in

an effort to share, care and spice up

the menu. The club has groomed great

speakers like Margie Sham Kaur, the

Division C Humorous Speech

Champion. Extol has committed leaders

who have willingly served without a

whimper through thick and thin. Bravo

Extol!

Sime Darby Healthcare

Toastmasters Club

(Club 843147, Area C3)

Come this November, Sime Darby

Healthcare TMC will be 5 years old. It

was chartered in November 2005 as

SJMC Toastmasters Club. The

Chartered President was Chin Weng

Seng. For the 2009/2010 term,

President Shirley Bak CC, CL rallied the

commitment and dedication of her

EXCO members to achieve the

President‘s Distinguished Club award.

The motto adopted then was:

“Together We Succeed”. For this

2010/2011 term, the President is Kelly

Lai CC, CL.

The Club owes its success not only to

members who are constantly working

towards their goals, but also to the

contributions of visiting and seasoned

Toastmasters who are always there to

help the Club conduct quality meetings

and insightful evaluations.

So the Sime Darby Healthcare success

story has clearly exemplified that there

are no prima donnas to hog the limelight

on the borderless Toastmasters stage.

Success will come with the chemistry of

committed and collective action, shared

roles and the ―humble and simple‖ show

of appreciation to those who truly

deserve it.

Division G …… good and getting better …

… great and getting grander !!<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<.>.<>.

New-born Division G commenced the term with 18 Clubs… chartered a

new club within two months – the Monash Toastmasters Club – and

conducted Demo Meetings for three more clubs within the first quarter.

For a new-born Division, within 25% of our term period (the first three

months of July, August, and September), we have achieved:

an on-track 25% of our minimum New Clubs target;

more than 75% of our New Members target;

a good 78% in COT 1 attendance;

a creditable 85% in club renewals;

maximum 100% in TTT attendance;

another 100% in DOT attendance.

There is, however, a need to focus emphatically on current members

renewals. A 30% shortfall in individual renewals compares unfavorably

with the 20% increase that has been targeted. Likewise, there is also a

need to work much harder to achieve the goals set for educational and

leadership goals,

Interesting new programs that are in the pipeline are for a Division G

Jamboree; twinning programs with one or two other Divisions in the

central region; as well as twinning programs with one or two other

Divisions outside the central region. Two Gavel Clubs and three

vernacular clubs are also being planned, depending of course on the

support of and participation by the G Members.

TLI TRAINING SESSION AT THE NEW CLUB, TAIPINGThe Toastmasters Leaders Institute (TLI) training session held at The New Club, Taiping on July24th 2010 was a special event in several ways:

1. It was an "official" celebration of the birth of new Division H in District 51. Ever since Division Governor cum midwife May Cheah was entrusted the duty of delivering the new infant Division H in Miri, Sarawak in May, there was no 'proper' celebration to recognise the new born babe until TLI Taiping. On this special occasion, a high level delegation led by the 3 Magi (DG Thannimalai, LGET Sue Chan & LGM Ramdas Nayar) and an equally eminent entourage of Toastmasters luminaries comprising Parameswari, June Lim, Dennis Wee, Cheong Kuok Sum, Palaniappa and Wendy Wong were all there to celebrate the auspicious occasion. Also present were the 4 Area Governors of the new Division H with their merry men and women. The baby was declared fit and healthy to partake in all Toastmasters activities. 2. It was also a promise fulfilled by LGET Sue Chan. Sue had promised a Pan Malaysian Peninsular TLI road show like this when she campaigned for the post of LGET in Miri. Sue triumphed and this was proof that she keeps her word.3. District Governor Thannimalai, in delivering his inspirational "kick butt" address at the event completed the last piece of his DTM jig-saw puzzle and he has now joined the exalted ranks of Distinguished Toastmasters. CONGRATULATIONS DTM Thanni!! You have proven that we can still pursue our Toastmasters goals while rendering service.4. In many ways, this event was quite different - it gave ample opportunities for the new breed of leaders to put into practice what they were taught in the Train the Trainers (TTT) sessions conducted earlier. It also provided an enlarged pool of leaders/trainers ready and willing to be called to action. With such a stellar cast of formidable trainers, it was only inevitable that the sessions were a runaway success. The District 51 team educated, enthralled and entertained while the

participants absorbed every gem of wisdom that dropped from the trainers‘ mouths . Everyone

got charged up and all participants felt well equipped and ready to take on their respective roles in their clubs.

And what have I learnt from this TLI session? It's that we all belong to a wonderful organisation where leaders and members are ever ready to share time, effort, knowledge and experience to enable each other to grow. This is the essence of the Toastmasters movement - to be Simple and Humble in Caring and Sharing! It would seem to me that the only people who did not benefit from TLI Taiping were those who weren't there. They missed a golden opportunity to learn, network and grow.Scribe: citykay (AG H1 Cheah Tong Kim)

NOTE: Attendance at TLI 1 was 64 % and with supplementary TLI before 30th August 2010, the total attendance was a good 86% high! Of all the clubs that have attended TLI Club Officers Training 1 session, 3 clubs came in full force by having 7 out of 7 officers attending TLI 1. They were: Taiping Toastmasters, Bagan Ajam Toastmasters and Team Flantech Toastmasters.

Division P currently has 25 clubs and 5 dedicated Area Governors under the capable leadership of Hakim Hamzah, ACB, ALS. Activities

for the team started as early as the start of the term with strong support from its Division Council and members.

Prepared by: Suhana Sidik, Division P Public Relations Officer

6 JUL 2010: BURSA HR OPEN DAY – TOASTMASTERS BOOTH

Following the positive feedback received from the Youth Leadership Program organized by MIM KL

Toastmasters Club, Bursa Malaysia has invited the team to setup a booth for Toastmasters during the

Bursa Malaysia’s HR Open Day. It was indeed a great experience for the Division P Council members

to engage the public on the benefits of joining Toastmasters with the idea of setting up a

Toastmasters Club for the company. Some of the employees who came and visit our booth registered

their interests, and we will indeed be working hard towards realizing this idea!

16 JUL 2010: eXFuze MALAYSIA 1st ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION –

TOASTMASTERS BOOTH

Division P had another opportunity to showcase Toastmasters by setting up a booth at the

eXFuze 1st year anniversary celebration. The booth was coordinated by ITC Bintang

Toastmasters Club and the Area P4 Governor, through the invite of its Asia Pacific

Director, Toastmaster Chong Sun Fu. Toastmasters, widely known for our communication

and leadership skills, were invited as part of an eXfuze Community Outreach initiative. At

the end, the group spotted celebrity Anita Sarawak and Hannah Tan and took a group

photo together as testament of the great fun we had.

31 JUL 2010: DIVISION P&G TLI CLUB OFFICERS TRAINING

The joint Division P&G TLI Club Officers Training was a major success with

participation of approximately 150 club officers from both Divisions. It’s also

glad to note that our Club Officers’ Training (COT) was held in UPM, which is

one of the most reputable Universities in Malaysia! The Division was also

honored with the presence of our beloved District Governor, Thannimalai, DTM,

the very able LGET, Sue Chan, DTM, IPDG Ritchie Chong, DTM, and many

more established speakers from TLI. We received great feedback from the

attendees with many more good suggestions for the upcoming TLI COT2.

21 AUG 2010: SUPPLEMENTARY TLI

In line with the initiatives to ensure that all Club Officers are given the

opportunity to enhance their leadership skills, Division P&G once again

collaborated to organize a Supplementary TLI hosted in MCOBA in Jalan Syed

Putra. It was well-received with the attendance of 8 other clubs from around

Divisions P, G & W enabling the Division to meet club’s COT DCP targets for

more than 70% of the clubs base.

7 AUG 2010: SPEECH WORKSHOP FOR BLIND KIDS FROM SEKOLAH

Division P Officers also took the opportunity to participate in a Speech Workshop for the DJ

Club from Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas Setapak. It was a very humble experience

for us realizing that we were teaching some 30 blind kids from the special school and trying

to convince them that even without the ability to see, having good communication skills is

essential to succeed in life. The half day program serves as a great opportunity for the team

to practice what we have learnt from the Competent Communicator 10 essential modules

and share it with the children. Our best hope is that with our support and guidance, some

may reach their dreams of becoming a DJ one day.

25 SEP 2010: DIVISION P HUMOROUS SPEECH &

EVALUATION CONTESTS

Contests in most of the clubs and area started as early July 2010, and

the penultimate Division P Humorous Speech & Evaluation contests

were organized on the 25th September 2010 at Menara Exxon Mobil.

We’ve seen many new winners emerging from the Area Contests, and it

was indeed a great moment seeing a new breed of champions emerging

from the Division Contests. So, watch out, other Divisions, we promise

you a tough competition for this year’s District Championship!
