    CAHRA is currently accepting

nominations for Treasurer for the 2021

year. If you are interested in learning

more about what the Treasurer role

involves, please contact a CAHRA board

    member!

Thank you to all who participated in the SHRM Foundation silent

auction! We raised $2,120, and these funds will be used to provide

valuable professional support and resources to its chapters and

    members.

The Lindsay Carter Jr. Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the legacy of our former

CAHRA member. Lindsay served the HR community for 36 years and was very involved in our

CAHRA chapter by serving in many roles including chapter president. This will be a $1000

scholarship. Applicants must complete and submit an application by the set deadline in order to

be considered. Applicants are responsible for gathering and submitting all necessary information.

Scholarship recipient is selected on the basis of academic achievement and work experience. A

selection committee comprising the current CAHRA board members will review and determine

scholarship recipient. Scholarship distribution will be based on the selection committee's

determination and CAHRA's ability to fund the scholarship.

Congratulations are in order for two CAHRA

    members!

Lindsey Hoskinson is the new Director-Elect

of the State Council of SHRM

Tracy Osborn is the new Secretary-Treasurer

of the State Council of SHRM

    Congrats, ladies!
