Small Things Done with Great Love Are Changing the WorldBy Rev. Charity Goodwin

Small does not mean insignicant. Though in our culture it is easy to make the correlation. I want to invite you to

do a small thing, a kind thing. This summer we are starting a #beablessing campaign. The goal is to do small things

all summer to change the world by bringing a smile to someones face. Sometimes these are called random acts ofkindness. About 550 people worship with us on a Sunday. What if every week each one of us did one thing to showkindness? Our efforts will be coupled with a cool connection card (business card size) thatll say Just For You Just

Because with church name and website. We will have lots of them Sunday, July 10 for you to take and leave when you

    bless someone.

What kind of things? Here are three things you can do:

Pass out bottled water (buy a case of bottled water and hand out to passersby)

Popsicles in the park (freeze them, then pass out on a hot day to families in parks)

Pay for the person behind you in the drive through (tell the cashier you want to pay

for the car behind you and ask them to give the person the connect card)

    Thats not all

Because I know this is going to spur great stories youll want to share.be sure to post your experience on Facebook

with the hashtag (#) #beablessing #mumc Lets get out there and bless Columbia!

    Are You a Health Care

Professional?Wed like to identify one health care professional for each

a medical emergency. If you are willing to serve in this

capacity, please send an email to [email protected]

    or mark todays tear-off.
