and expanded to support new implemantiation, then it should be a
preferred way, as organization is cost concuious. Server setup should
be scalable to support any expansion in user base. Linux based
servers should be preferred as they are more reliable and cost
effectiveness.

Engineering depeartment may need some high end machines as
compared to accounting depart ment.
c. Retial locations may need Point Of Sale (POS) devices to integrate
with organization wide sales system. Salse offices may need client
machines simillar to accouting.
d. For most client machines, windows based computes should beselected for user friendly interface and existing user comfortlevel and
work experience on same platform.

a. Governance around new ERP implemenation should be responsiblity
of an oversight committee which should enclude Heads of each
department involved, representative from each user group,
representatives from Finance and Purchase, IT staff responsible for
implementation and maintenance. The committee should ensure
correct implementation is choosen, it is implemented in stipulated
time line and staying within apporved budget. It should also ensure
that proper user training is cunducted and migration to new system is
successful.
Once system is implemented, committee shall be reformed with core
responsiblity of porper maintenance and upgrades of the implemented system.

hardware purchased as part of this implementation.
