Additive Manufacturing is in our Genes.

When it comes to AM with metals, Heraeus is your reliable partner all along the way. With decades of experience in metal handling and recycling, combined with our thorough expertise in additive manufacturing, we are able to provide you with true peace of mind. Our command of processes, powders and printing enables the highest degree of design freedom for your components.

With high-quality powders, batch consistency and trace-ability, and variable particle size distribution, we can meet even very exacting AM demands.

Product Features ■ High purity ■ High powder density ■ Excellent fl owability

and machinability

QualityPowder for additive manufacturing:

■ Spherical particles ■ Few satellites

Typical PropertiesThe Ti-48Al-2Cr-2Nb alloy is part of the titanium aluminide (TiAl) group, the intermetallic compounds of titanium and aluminum.

Titanium aluminides exhibit excellent strength and rigidity at high temperatures while having a low density (3.9 g/cm³), making them ideally suited to aerospace applications, specifi cally as a replacement for nickel-based super alloys in jet engines.

Particle Size Distribution

■ Typical fraction for EBM ■ High selectivity ■ Additional fractions available upon request
