What is missing in the word “know” to fit the pattern I´ve + already + past
participle?
When we emphasize an idea with words such as “really”, where do they go?
Before or after the verb?
What verb pattern follows the expression look forward to? Remember!
This “to” is not the infinitive form of the verb that follows but a
preposition belonging to the expression.
The writer is narrating what he´s been up to in connection to the concert.
Is there anything peculiar about the chunk “who wants to go with me”?
What tense should be used here instead?
Activity 3: Rewriting an opening paragraph. Taking into consideration the aspects
mentioned above, can you rewrite your own opening paragraph?
Dear Alex,
I´ve already know about the concert and I wanted really to go!
Dear Alex,
It was great to hear from you! I was looking forward to go to this concert but I still was
looking for someone who wants to go with me.
