Deliverable 6.1

Methodologies to Foster the PWLE

ARISTOTELE 2nd Review Meeting, Salerno, Sept. 18th-19th, 2012

2

The PWLE will allow the worker to: Create, manage and organize objectives and related lists of tasks,

and share them as workflows in order to help co-workers to achieve similar objectives

Create, aggregate, share, annotate and rate content and people in order to contribute to the overall quality of available information within the organization

Search for content and for links among contents Receive recommendations about content and people that can

support in the work to be performed Capture, manage, augment and share knowledge about the

processes performed to achieve an objective or to complete a task Manage and share relationship networks and social activities in

order to support interest/expertise finding and communities creation

The PWLE allows to manage two transversal processes: “Producing results” that allows the

worker to: Organize their work through

definition of objectives/tasks Execute the defined tasks

“Knowledge sharing” that allows the

worker to: Exploit existing knowledge Share the acquired knowledge

within the organization

Integrating access to several tools (e.g. tools resulting from implementation of other methodologies)

Providing specific tools for work organization (i.e. goal decomposition, task management)

Exploiting the recommender system to provide suggestions related to work to be done Enhancing methods for supporting social collaboration (i.e. social bookmarking,
