IP Talking ShopIP Talking ShopIP Talking Shop Last month Metis Partners hosted an

informal, “lively” dinner at the Chardon D‟or with IP asset

licensing as the central topic of discussion. Speaker, Pat

Kennedy of Cellport & author of ‘Ideajacked’ , shared his

experiences of the good, the bad and the ugly of IP asset

licensing. Guests described Pat‟s presentation as

“inspirational” and that in particular it informed guests of

“the benefits and pitfalls of investing in patent protection.”

After Pat‟s presentation, guests, including several

entrepreneurs and experienced figures in IP, participated in

an “excellent intellectual debate.”

finalist in the „Asset Valuer/Auctioneer of the Year‟

category at this year's Insolvency & Rescue Awards. The

award recognises companies who have maximised and

realised the value of assets across a spectrum of disposals.
