WE STUDENT COUNCIL Hello St. Clement students and parents, This is your We Student Council and we just wanted to thank you once again for all your support these past two years, with all of our local and global projects. Because of your help, we were able to present a cheque in the amount of $10,000 at a special Me2We presentation on May 1 st , so that Free the Children can build a school for us in Bagad, India, to help kids there get an education which they need and deserve, just like us. Students in grades 3- 8 were also awe inspired by the anti-bullying and empowering message given by Caro Kingston, an outreach motivational speaking with Free the Children. As our grade 8 ambassadors get ready to graduate, they have successfully mentored and passed the torch to the grade 7 ambassadors, who are already action planning for our We Student’s Council’s next projects, so stay tuned. Thank you to Julia M., a grade 7 ambassador when we first initiated our school building campaign in 2013, for being present and seeing the project come full circle. Our heartfelt thanks, St. Clement’s We Student Council THANK Y<3U
