metroSTOR Cycle Parking Products

The tough, configurable and neat product strengths of metroSTOR are perfect for addressing the lack of secure cycle parking at home, at work and on the move. Available as individual lockers, secure compact stores or cycle hubs, the stylish and durable metroSTOR Cycle Parking Units can be specified for specific security and accessibility requirements, including the fitting of integral e-cycle charging systems, while optimising the available footprint using wall mount, semi-vertical, double-stack or Sheffield hoop racks.

metroSTOR PCM Cycle Store Units

metroSTOR PCM is a modular cycle store unit, linear in design format for location in narrow spaces such as along pathways and close to buildings. Ideally suited to residential developments both new build or refurbishment schemes, PCM offers a neat, secure cycle storage solution that helps prevent opportunistic crime and assists in the declutter of communal areas.

Available in 3 standard product series specified by unit depth and cycle parking type; metroSTOR PCM 12 units at 1200mm depth are specified for the most confined locations and are fitted with wall-hanging vertical cycle racks. metroSTOR PCM 15 Series units continue the compact theme and fitted with semi-vertical racks to achieve optimum balance between footprint and storage capacity. metroSTOR PCM 18 Series at 1800mm depth has the basic ‘Sheffield hoop’ system installed as standard though semi-vertical racks can be fitted.

Continuous door access along front elevation means metroSTOR PCM can be configured to limit resident access by adding divider panels for secure compartmentalisation. With a choice of access control and standard left or right-hinged door, ease of access where narrow pathways are involved is guaranteed.

The highly flexible specification enables both the requirements of cycle owner and the locating environment to be accommodated. With a choice of panel types, finishes, access control systems and roof options, metroSTOR PCM adds a welcome architectural impact to the scheme in addition to fulfilling a practical storage function. This can extend to our WILD® greenroof system, underscoring a commitment to championing the environment and its fragile ecosystems.

Common to all of our products, metroSTOR PCM configurable design lends itself to coordination with existing architectural fabric and where required, the creation of uniform cycle storage facilities across a development.

metroSTOR PCM product design allows for greenroof to be specified as a standard specification.

Ease of SpecificationAll units are available as CAD blocks / BIM models for planning and site layout purposes. PCM panel module cladding can be specified from a wide range of standard options.

Greenroof Options

metroSTOR products are manufactured to ISO9001:2008,ISO14001 and BS EN 1090 CE Marking designed and manufactured for long life. The all-steel frame is Hot-Dip Galvanised to BS EN 1461.

Access OptionsThe highly configurable lock case accommodates lock only and deadlock with key management options and also mechanical or powered keypad access.

metroSTOR door hinge and frame design is the result of exhaustive product testing in challenging urban environments.
