1. Select the famous person that you will be learning about. You will be given a topic and a list of famous people to select from for that topic. You can do a brief research on all your options to select the best Mexican person.
2. Do your research at home. Save and/or print all the information you find, you will turn this in as an attachment to your written assignment. Highlight any information you consider valuable about your famous person. Make sure you keep track of your sources because a bibliography is also required. You will need written information and pictures, short video clips are optional, and props are highly recommended.
3. Work on the deliverables included in this project; make sure you fulfill all requirements for each. Carefully read the guidelines below.
4. Show your work continuously to teachers to make sure you are on the right track and make corrections if necessary.
5. Take care of your materials and project; you must clean up your working area every time you work on this project. Supplies from Art class will not be available, make sure you plan ahead to bring all necessary materials.

Cover page: Name, Team, Group, Date Biography: Write a 2-page double-spaced
biography about your character. Bibliography Attachments: Attach all used sources with
highlighted information.
Poster

Known For Timeline: At least 10 events. Time Line
Maker Main Contribution: What was his/her main
contribution to Mexican Society? Significance: What effect did his/her life have
on our nation? 3 Values Connection Pictures &Quotes
Brochure - Optional
Prepare a brochure to tell about the person's life. Bring at least 5 copies. Brochure Creator
Piece of Art
Make a display using physical items or artistic creations related to the character.
Use note cards to label each item.
Presentations
Creativity Be innovative when creating your questions and answers, rather than just focusing on birth dates and death dates.

Presentation
Choose a format for your presentation. Remember it should be original and creative.
Prepare a storyboard or script of the conversation. Take into account that the presentation should last between 5-8 minutes.
Prepare note cards if needed. Illustrate scenes for the story
to project on smart board. Choose a presenter who will
introduce your presentation to the audience.
Bring costumes and props.
Movie
Guidelines given by Technology teacher. Some sections you could include: Introduction, Personal background, Main contribution, Personality traits, Significance, Obstacles and Quotes.

Evaluation You will have a group and individual evaluation. Group evaluation is worth 80% and individual evaluation is worth 20%.
