Go therefore and make

disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the

name of the Father and

of the Son and of the

Holy Spirit. Matt. 28:19

The original plan was for us (R.J., Anna Lee, and Charity) to leave the U.S.

and join the Richardson family in ministry in the village of Baratillo, Mexico

at the end of December. After setting that plan in motion, My (Anna Lee’s)

mother experienced several complications regarding her medical situation

and we were uneasy about leaving until her status was more stable.

Concurrently, the Richardson’s experienced some setbacks regarding their

own move to their new home (the carpenter fell ill) and they have been un-

able to vacate the house where we will be living.

Due to these situations, we are still in the U.S. at this time. R. J. left for

McAllen, Texas in a Penske truck with our last load on Dec. 28th. He met

Mike at the border and they sent another load to Mexico aboard Mike’s

trailer. Although we are not yet in Mexico, most of our worldly possessions

are there.

While discussing various issues and complications relating to our move

to Mexico, Mike Richardson informed us that "The key to being a good

missionary is learning to be flexible.” Flexibility is a character quality

that we are being taught during this time of adjustment and change.

WEDDING

On November 11, 2012, our daugh-

ter, Tonya married Leonel Valle at

Mt. Hope Community Church in

Jasper, GA. Tonya was a beautiful

radiant bride.

Please keep them, as well as our

other family members, in your

Mexico.

The Moss family

rented a Penske truck

to finalize getting all

their remaining items

to Texas. This was a

massive endeavor

which took mind-

boggling evaluation

and prayer! Trying to

decide what stays,

what goes, and what

is just junk is quite

difficult!

Fortunately, we are

blessed with friends

and family who help

out in times of need!

Packing the truck was

successfully accom-

plished with the help

of Martin Robinson,

Benjamin, Charity

Moss, Tabitha &

Jesse Scott, Leonel &

Tonya Valle and

others!

THANK YOU SO

MUCH!!!!

We couldn’t have

done it without you!

Decisions,

decisions…

What to give?

What to take?

What to share?

What is just junk?

Willing helpers—

What would you do

without them?

ISAIAH 6:8

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying:

Who should I send?

Who will go for Us?

I said: Here I am. Send me.

Although Luz speaks little

English and I (Anna Lee)

know little Spanish, God’s

love knows no barriers.

I cannot wait to reunite with

our friends in Mexico and

join them in their work to

build up God’s kingdom!

Sharing the

Gospel in Baratillo,

Mexico

The church in Baratillo is an exciting place to be. The people there

are full of God’s love, excited to be a part of what God is doing

there, and eager to serve Him and others.

Charity will have the opportunity to make many friends there as she

works to learn the language and overcome linguistic barriers!

Stormy Coleman gave Charity a book on raising dairy goats which

she is eagerly reading. Stormy also showed her how to milk a goat

so Charity already has hopes of being able to raise a goat once we

reach Mexico.

Prayer Needs

1. Pray for our family as we make our move. We (R. J., Anna Lee, and Charity) leave for

McAllen, TX on February 15th to meet Mike Richardson at the border. On Feb. 20th,

we will be in Baratillo, Mexico.

2. Please pray that Anna Lee’s mother and father, Marie & Howard Collins, regain their

health. Marie may be undergoing more surgery in the near future. She currently has a

tracheotomy and a stomach peg due to aspirating food when swallowing. The doctor hopes

that with surgery she will be able to swallow normally and the trachea and stomach peg can

be removed.

3. R.J.’s mother, Julie, and sister, Kathy, are having serious health issues. Remember to

pray for Julie James and Kathy Garland. R. J.’s mom has severe rheumatoid arthritis as well

as other health issues. His sister, Kathy was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and is

undergoing chemo. Praise the Lord, the tumor is shrinking.

4. Ashley, Amy, and Benjamin are in the process of moving to Canton, GA. Please pray

for them as they adjust to the changes in their lives. Amy needs a part-time job in Canton to

help pay bills while she attends college. Ashley is in college as well and works part-time at

Vision Works in Canton. Benjamin is employed at UPS in Alpharetta.

5. The ministry needs solar panels to help provide electricity in Baratillo, Mexico. The area

the church is located has no electricity other than what can be provided by solar panels and

there are only 4 currently running 2 households and a church. With more panels, electrical

needs could be met.

6. Charity needs a very basic laptop computer on which to do her school work. If anyone

knows of someone who is upgrading and has an older computer they would like to sell or

donate, please let us know.

7. David and Janet Mueller (Anna Lee’s sister) need prayer for their families, work,

school, etc.

8. Remember to pray for our children and grandchildren left here in the states: Jesse and

Tabitha Scott, Leonel and Tonya Valle and Caleb, Leonel and Christina Rodriguez and Leo

III, Ashley, Benjamin, and Amy.
