4. AIMS AND PURPOSES
To build knowledge and understanding of ASEAN Community, to promote
cultural awareness and understanding of the role of ASEAN Youth, preparing and fully
equipping students for ASEAN integration, helping students work to their full potential
in a multicultural environment while also encouraging international activities within
Mae Fah Luang University and providing opportunities for networking with participating
institutions.
5. Schedule of Activities: 5-10 October 2015 (6 – day camp) (Please kindly see the attached
tentative program)
6. Participants:
6.1 40 Students from Mae Fah Luang University
6.2 3 Students from Souphanouvong University
6.3 2 Students National Justice Institute of Laos
6.4 Camp Director and Staff 10 persons
Total 55 persons
7. Qualifications and Document Requirement
7.1 Qualifications:
- First, second, or third year undergraduate student
- Ability to communicate in English
- Willing to participate and contribute to the ASEAN Youth Ambassadors Camp
- Friendly personality and Leadership skills
- Enthusiasm for learning new things
- Good health
- Active interest in ASEAN
- Ability to participate in the full length of the ASEAN Youth Ambassadors Camp
- No breaches of any university discipline rules
- Special talents will be an advantage

- Copy of University Transcript*

7.3 Application procedure:
- Application forms can be downloaded at www.mfu.ac.th/eng
- Applicants are required to SCAN their completed application form and required
documents, and send them to [email protected] OR in person at the International
Affairs Division, President of the Office Building (AD1)
- Deadline for application submission: 24 September 2015 at 15.00 hrs.

9. Expected Outcome
Participants will gain substantial knowledge and understanding of ASEAN and increased
awareness of their role in the ASEAN Community, in addition to invaluable direct experience
from participating in multicultural activities in a neighbouring country and opportunities
for networking with new friends from other institutions.
