Tourist Spot

West Lake Tour 西湖-April 22 nd

West Lake is a freshwater lake in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province in eastern China. It is divided into five sections by three causeways. There are numerous temples, pagodas, gardens, and artificial islands within the lake. West Lake has influenced poets and painters throughout Chinese history for its natural beauty and historic relics, and it has also been among the most important sources of inspiration for Chinese garden designers. It was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011, described as having "influenced garden design in the rest of China as well as Japan and Korea over the centuries" and reflecting "an idealized fusion between humans and nature".

西湖，是中國大陸首批國家重點風景名勝區和中國十大風景名勝之一。中國大陸主要

的觀賞性淡水湖泊之一。西湖東靠杭州市區，孤山是西湖中最大的天然島嶼，蘇堤、

白堤越過湖面，小瀛洲、湖心亭、阮公墩三個人工小島鼎立於外西湖湖心，雷峰塔與

保俶塔隔湖相映，由此形成了「一山、二塔、三島、三堤、五湖」的基本格局。由於

其在中國的歷史文化和風景名勝中的重要地位，西湖被評選為首批國家重點風景名勝

區（1982 年）、中國十大風景名勝（1985 年）和首批國家 5A 級旅遊景區（2006

年）。此外，1979 年中華人民共和國發行的外匯兌換券壹圓券以及 2004 年發行的

第五套人民幣壹圓紙幣背面均使用了三潭印月的圖案，更說明了杭州西湖在中國風景

名勝中的地位。中國各地以「西湖」命名的湖泊有數十個之多，通常認為杭州西湖是

其中最著名的湖泊。2011 年 6 月 24 日，杭州西湖文化景觀列入世界遺產名錄。

The Memorial Temple of Yue Fei Temple 岳王廟-April 22 nd

In memory of the famous general in the Southern Song Dynasty, Yue Fei's Temple is situated in front of Qixia Hill facing the lake in Hangzhou. For centuries, Yue Fei has always been regarded as the incarnation of justice and loyalty. In 1961, the State Council declared it as one of the major national protected monuments in China

Tourism.

Former Residence of Xueyan Hu 胡雪巖故居-April 22 nd

Former Residence of Hu Xueyan is located in Yuanbao street, eastern of Dajing alley conservation districts of historic sites, Huangzhou. It was built in 1872 and finished in 1875 when Hu Xueyan was in his career peak. This old residence is a building with Traditional Chinese architectural features and Western architectural style. It is long in north and south, wide in east and west, covering an area of 10.8 acres with building area of 5815 square metres. Its layout, no matter on the building’s style or the furniture, can be called‘the luxuriest residence of the merchants in the end of the Chinese Qing Dynasty (1639-1912).

胡雪巖故居占地面積 10.8 畝，東連牛羊司巷，南至元寶街，西接袁井巷，北靠望江

路。胡雪巖死後，故居先抵給文煜，後賣給創辦浙江興業銀行的蔣家。中華人民共和

國成立後，正廳和芝園大部分租給了浙江財政幹校，1958 年在此辦起了杭州青年中

學。60 年代後由杭州市文化局接管，先作為杭州藝術專科學校，後又作為杭州話劇

團、曲藝團、歌舞團等單位的團部。文革後期又被送給了杭州刃具廠，除了作廠房

用，還作為宿舍使用。2000 年杭州市政府決定由杭州博物館主持修復胡雪巖故居，1

年後修復完成。

宋城千古情 The Legend of Romance-April 22 nd

The Romantic Show of Songcheng is the symbolic performance of Hangzhou, being performed over 2,000 times per year. Since it was created, the show has been performed more than 20,000 times, and entertained over 60 million audience. Suzhou Classical Gardens of Suzhou：

Humble Administrator’s Garden 蘇州拙政園 -April 23 rd

The Humble Administrator's Garden is a Chinese garden in Suzhou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous of the gardens of Suzhou. The garden is located at 178 Dongbei Street. At 51,950 m2, it is the largest garden in Suzhou and is considered by some to be the finest garden in all of southern China.

拙政園位於江蘇省蘇州市東北街上，是一座中國著名的古典私人花園，不僅是蘇州花

園的代表，更是中國四大名園之一，建於西元 1509 年，已在 1997 年列入世界文化

遺產；拙政園面積 62 畝，是目前蘇州最大的古園林，期規劃和設計可追溯至明朝畫

家文徵明的「王氏拙政園記」，文徵明以水為主體、植栽為輔設計了約 31個景點，營

造出山水的意境，且植物的栽種和植物本身的含意都有相關，讓來到蘇州拙政園旅遊

的民眾感受中國山水園林的最高意境。

Hanshan Temple 寒山寺-April 23 rd

Hanshan Temple; literally: "Cold Mountain Temple", is a Buddhist temple and monastery in Suzhou, China. It is located at the town of Fengqiao (lit. Maple Bridge), about 5 kilometres west of the old city of Suzhou.

Traditionally, Hanshan Temple is believed to have been founded during the Tianjian era (502–519) of the reign of Emperor Wu of Liang, in the Southern and Northern Dynasties period. The current name of the monastery derives from Hanshan, the legendary monk and poet. Hanshan and his disciple Shide are said to have come to the monastery during the reign of Emperor Taizong of Tang (627–649), where Hanshan became the abbot.

寒山寺位於江蘇省蘇州市楓橋鎮，坐東朝西的地理位置面對古運河，建於六朝年間約

西元 502 年至 509 年間，初名為「妙利普明塔院」，至唐朝貞觀年間名僧寒山和拾得

從天台山來此作住持，並改名為「寒山寺」，宋朝年間節度使孫承祐建造七層浮屠，

後又改稱「普明禪院」，嘉靖年間僧本寂鑄大銅鐘和鐘樓，往後明朝年間也曾數次重

修寒山寺，曾是歷史上註明的十大名寺之一；寒山寺以唐朝詩人張繼所作的《楓橋夜

泊》聞名海內，讓來到寒山寺的遊客更能感受詩詞中的意境。

The Oriental Pearl Tower 東方明珠塔-April 24 th

The Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower is a TV tower in Shanghai. Its location at the tip of Lujiazui in the Pudongdistrict by the side of Huangpu River, opposite The Bund, makes it a distinct landmark in the area. At 468 m (1,535 feet) high, it was the tallest structure in China from 1994–2007, when it was surpassed by the Shanghai World Financial Center. The tower is brightly lit in different LED sequences at night. On 7 July 2007, Oriental Pearl Tower was host to the Chinese Live Earth concert.

東方明珠廣播電視塔，位於上海市浦東陸家嘴的未來主義建築，與外灘隔黃浦江相

望，原名上海廣播電視塔，上海市民也常簡稱其為東方明珠。東方明珠由當時華東建

築設計研究院設計，1991 年動工，1994 年落成，總高 468 米。在 1994 年至 2007

年間，是中國大陸地區的最高建築，2007 年被上海環球金融中心超越。東方明珠自

落成以後便成為上海天際線的組成部分之一，是上海的地標性建築

Huangpu River Tour 夜遊黃浦江-April 24 th

The west bank (Puxi) of the Huangpu River is the cultural, residential and entertainment center of Shanghai. The Bund, Monument to the People's Heroes, Waibaidu Bridge and the oldest park in Shanghai - Huangpu Park, are located on the west bank. In addition, many historical buildings left over from Shanghai's colonial days have been preserved. The east bank of the river (Pudong) is the newer district of Shanghai and its financial and commercial hub. Steel and glass structures are abundant here. The Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jin Mao Tower, skyscraper hotels, offices and malls of the Lujiazui Financial Zone are located on this side of the river.

黃浦江（簡稱黃浦、浦江），舊稱黃歇浦（簡稱歇浦）、春申江（簡稱申江），是上海

市界內最大河流，被稱為「上海的母親河」。黃浦江將上海分割成了浦西和浦東，兩

岸分別形成了舉世知名的外灘以及陸家嘴金融中心等上海重要地標。

It once was the Xinhe Cotton Mill and now many preserved beautiful industrial buildings, built in different periods from the 1930s to the 1990s cover a total area of 43,000 square meters.

感的好地方。也因為如此，M50 瀰漫著濃郁而隨意的藝術氛圍，少了些商業氣，許

多愛好文化產業、藝術創作的青年會到這裡來走走看看，拍些小照，若累了還能找家

小咖啡店呆著。

Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center 上海城市規劃館

The Exhibition Center is a six-storey building, with two basement levels, which displays Shanghai's urban planning and development. The focus of the exhibit is a large scale model of the entirety of urban Shanghai, showing existing buildings and approved future buildings. Other exhibits relate to Shanghai's history and planned development, including smaller scaled models focussing on particular areas of interest such as the Bund. The Exhibition Center also has space for temporary exhibitions with a wide range of subject matter.

Tianzifang 泰康路田子坊 -April 26 th

Little known to Shanghai old timers, Tianzifang has transformed itself from legacy residential architectures and factories into an artsy area housing bars, cafes, crafts shops, design studios, galleries and boutiques. It is ardently supported by crowds of yuppies, trend setters, designers and expatriates, who fall for temptation of old Shikumen houses (stone-framed-door houses) and lanes with infinite novelties.

田子坊位於中國上海市泰康路 210 弄，泰康路是打浦橋地區的一條小街，1998 年前

這裡還是一個馬路集市，自 1998 年 9 月區政府實施馬路集市入室後，一路發文化發

展公司首先進駐泰康路，揭開了泰康路上海藝術街的序幕，不久又有著名畫家陳逸

飛、爾冬強、王劼音、王家俊、李守白等藝術家和一些工藝品商店先後入駐泰康路，

使原來默默無聞的小街漸漸吹起了藝術之風。才使得下雨會一地泥，天晴會一片塵的

馬路煥然一新。在區委，區府的領導支持下，泰康路依據打浦橋地區的功能定位開始

實施特色街的工程。
